Five messengers from Farand reached the city of Tervord this afternoon; an engaging delivery was made. It was more like an instinct that brought them to this place. How can they not be questioned? They are in the habit of searching and spying, sometimes where they radiate a certain aura that attracts them to visit, and Tervord is among them.
Something in this town attracts them, but they don't know what. Tervord was not a big city but not a small one. The city, nearly surrounded by the forest, gave Tervord a distinct attraction free of cool air. One of them heard there would be some festival for Tervord's birthday, and they were interested in seeing it.
"Very crowded, not very different from the festival." One of them said.
"It's hard to find them in this crowded place." He added.
"Not necessarily here."
"We split up," said the little long-haired man who was their group leader. Without waiting for a word, five of them will scatter.
There are so many people here; luckily, they've changed into human clothes; otherwise, it would undoubtedly attract attention. One by one, they walked down a different road, nowhere out of sight, watching from the top of the building.
Louise circled the park after exiting a crowded shopping area with Galan and Dale. He was not interested in such events, but he wanted to reminisce. In the corner of his heart, there was a part that longed for such an atmosphere even though now he went with a different person.
Dale just stopped. "That's...." He squinted. "Aren't they the ones we know?" He pointed to the three girls standing in front of the food stand. Galan and Louise turned.
"It's them." He said.
"Let's go over there." Dale took.
Not before Louise stepped in, he saw someone from the opposite side in the girls' third position. His eyes were round, his face was pale, and his feet suddenly stiffened.
"He is unconscious. How did it get here?" Louise's face hardened, and his expression turned violent, like a tiger ready to pounce on its prey. "One move, and I'll finish you off." Louise said quietly menacingly.
Louise's known associates are none other than Farand's lackeys; if they're already in the human world, he's not safe anymore. If they're right, they could be searching for him. But why would they bother to look for it? Doesn't the Dyras care? Now that's not what he should think, but the person he recognizes is a significant problem and probably in the future.
"I think I've seen the girl, but where?" His brow furrowed deep and threw his gaze; he continued to dig up memories. The man had no idea that Louise was looking at him so intently.
The man turned back on, and the girl was gone, and he was not in front of the store selling any baking. His eyes blinked, and his frown deepened.
"Did I see wrong?" He said. "It's possible that she's just a woman who looks like someone I once met and can't remember who she is either. My memory was terrible."
He had heard that some humans resemble the inhabitants of Deuglasia. So he believed the girl was just a human who looked like someone from there, nothing more. The man shook his head several times, he had to focus on his search, and then he turned into a narrow street.
"Gone at last." Louise drew a breath of relief. The tension he felt slowly wore away.
Stunned as the phone in his pocket quivered, Louise picked up the phone from Dale, looking for the whereabouts of Louise's sudden disappearance. Louise made an excuse to go to the bathroom and never got a chance to say it. After that, he went after his friends.
"Sorry to keep you waiting," Louise said.
"If you want to go, please say something." Dale answered, and he glared.
"No more extending." He said.
"But..."
"We go." Galan grabbed Dale and dragged him. Louise attended the girls from behind.
Louise walks alone at the back of the line, still thinking of the person she recognized. He was distracted by their presence, yes, they were, and Farand couldn't have sent one person. Dyras may be looking for him, but there is one thing he has never known; the whereabouts of princess Veirmesh, Ashley Calasthane.
'I won't let him near her.' Louise said to himself. 'Never.' His face is hardened.
If this is how Louise finds himself unable to do anything else, he has to break the deal he agreed. Louise seems to be okay, but he's so upset right now; he afraid of something happening to the person he's been trying to protect.
But didn't he break the agreement, and it wasn't a deliberate thing; he didn't expect to see her. Since the meeting didn't happen until now, it doesn't mean it doesn't matter accidentally, and I come to think of it as breaking the agreement. That thought comes to Louise's mind; after much thought, it shouldn't matter, but he should keep a distance to prevent something terrible.
"What's wrong with you? What are you thinking about?"
Louise flinched from his reverberations; before him, already standing Ashley, who challenged his astonishment. Those blue, beady eyes compelled Louise as if she were dragging himself into Ashley's ocean-like beads. Louise blinks and clears his throat to distract him. The longer he looked at Ashley, the more he wanted to run away to calm himself down.
"It's okay." He answered flatly. Louise walked right past Ashley.
"Why can't he just be nice." She said, annoyed. She has nothing to worry about; he has nothing to fear. "Sucks."
When Ashley came home, she bathed in warm water and then climbed into her bed and lay down. El was curled up in the corner of the bed, the sound of her snoring made Ashley feel good, and before long, she dozed off.
Not far from Ashley's home, a man is watching the house, knowing where Ashley is. Not for a second did he look away. Just watch out and be careful. He hid in a tree, where he could monitor the surroundings more freely.
Cold, wet, blurry eyes, screaming sounds very loud. The longer her eyesight grew dim, a man was nearby, not knowing what he was saying. Not even his face was visible, just a shadow. She could feel little if she lifted and hugged him, but she couldn't recognize and hear what he said, and then it got dark.
Ashley's eyes were wide open, and her sweat was streaming. Ashley's heart seemed to burst; her breathing was tight, and her chest was on fire. The girl's eyes moved wildly to the left, right, and top. After a few minutes, she realizes she's in the room. She slowly wiped the sweat off her forehead and cheeks and then sat down.
"What kind of dream?" Ashley rubbed the stern look on her face. It was unusual for her to have such a horrible dream. Ashley held her forehead.
She glanced at the window and found El sitting in front of the window, looking out. Ashley's forehead furrowed; she pulled open the blanket and stepped toward the El. Intrigued by what El had noticed, Ashley looked out the window with nothing but a row of wind-blown trees.
"What are you looking at?" She's grabbing an El. "We'd better get some sleep." She carried him to bed.
From his monitor, he could see expressly as Ashley stood in front of the window, looking out. His brow furrowed to see the black cat on the back of the brown-haired beauty.
Twenty minutes after, Ashley woke up; she couldn't sleep anymore; now it was two in the morning, and she was still awake. She probably just had a bad dream, so she couldn't sleep anymore.
"I need warm milk." Ashley came down from the room to the kitchen, got some liquid milk from inside the fridge, and then warmed it.
She finished the warm milk in under a minute, feeling better after drinking but still losing her drowsiness. If she gets sleepy at school like this, Ashley leans her back on the dining room chair. Squinting her eyes and then reopening them, she exhales deeply.
"I've never had a dream like that before, but I've dreamed about it twice tonight." She said. "What dreams are."
Her mind drifted from her earlier dream; Ashley was busy searching for answers. In Ashley's room, there was a crack, like a crack in the glass that didn't know where it came from.

"How?"
"I didn't find it." The other nodded.
"Then let's look elsewhere."
The urban park and shopping area were deserted, and there was no sign of life. The five messengers Farand continued their search elsewhere; they dispersed. One of them is searching Ashley's territory. He walked down the street one by one, and the man stopped under a big tree.
Louise's eyes were round; he was surprised by the man's sudden arrival. It was right under the tree that Louise was climbing up. His concentration ruptured instantly; he sensed something strange coming from Ashley's house, and now one of Farand's accomplices was there.
His focus was on them, but the strange things he had felt sparked his curiosity. Before he had time to find the source, this man was already under it. Her face hardened, she looked at the man, and Ashley's house took turns. After she has noticed that this man is not the man she saw at the festival. At least he was relieved by it.
"Hiding, where is the prince?" He said quietly. "We don't know where to look anymore."
Louise indeed thought that her father, Dyras, was looking for him.
'what he wants from me.' Louise could not forgive his father. Just remembering his face disgusted him.
The guy senses something strange around him; he's being watched. Eyes are moving left and right, nothing. Now stay behind, and up top, his feelings tell him to look up, and quickly he looks up. It was a split second. Louise was startled by the sudden movement of the man who looked up.
