Arachne's eyes seemed to clear, and she looked up at Kael with a mixture of confusion and fear. "What happened?" she repeated. "I remember...the crystal...and then...nothing."

Kael helped Arachne to her feet, holding her steady as she swayed. "You were possessed by the crystal's power," he explained. "We had to destroy it to break its hold on you."

Arachne's gaze fell to the shattered remains of the crystal, and a shiver ran down her spine. "I remember feeling its power," she said. "It was like nothing I've ever experienced before. I was consumed by it, and I couldn't control myself."

Lyra stepped forward, her eyes filled with concern. "Are you okay?" she asked. "Did the crystal's power do any lasting damage?"

Arachne hesitated, her eyes searching inward. "I...I think I'm okay," she said. "But I feel...different. Like there's something inside me, waiting to be unleashed."
