Becoming the Chairman of Convergence Group at such a young age was no small feat, so Della clearly had other intentions. If she could get involved with Brentley, her position in the company would be secure.

"Alright then, starting today, you'll be working as a janitor in the company," Brentley replied nonchalantly before striding out of the office.

Della stood there, stunned, her face flushed with shame and anger. She never expected that Brentley would resist her charms and instead assign her to be a janitor!

"Did you hear what Young Master Carter just said?" Mr. Griffin asked Della with a blank expression. "Y-Yes, I heard..." Della quickly responded. No matter what, even being a janitor was better than getting fired from the company.

Meanwhile, Brentley, after the recent events, started to believe that everything happening today wasn't a scam but real. Otherwise, Mr. Griffin wouldn't have fired those people just because of him.

Brentley decided to test the card that had been given to him at a bank to see if he could really withdraw money freely. But just then, his phone rang.

"Brentley, where have you been? Why aren't you back yet? Don't you know we have classes this afternoon?" a young man urgently shouted.

The person speaking was Graham, one of the few friends Brentley had at the university.

"Darn it, I totally forgot about that!" Brentley exclaimed, quickly adding, "I'll head back right now..." "Hurry up!" Graham replied in a low voice before hanging up the phone.

Brentley flagged down a taxi and headed straight for Sunshire City University. Since the university wasn't far from Convergence Group, he managed to arrive on time. Upon returning to the classroom, Brentley noticed that all his classmates were giving him strange looks. Meanwhile, Ophelia and Colby were sitting together, chatting intimately.

Seeing this scene, a strange emotion welled up inside Brentley. Ophelia had never sat with him like that when they were together. It was clear that the whole class already knew about Ophelia dumping him.

"Brentley, are you okay?" Graham asked softly. "I'm fine..." Brentley replied flatly. "I heard about you and Ophelia..."

"Graham, don't bring that up!" whispered Tyree, a friend of both Graham and Brentley .

At the university Tyree and Graham often helped him, and Brentley always remembered their kindness.

"I'm really fine..." Brentley said as he smiled at both of them before walking to the back of the classroom to sit down.

Graham and Tyree assumed Brentley was in a bad mood, so they didn't bother him. But in reality, Brentley wasn't upset about Ophelia; he needed some quiet time to think about everything that had happened today.

It all seemed so unbelievable. Just this morning, Ophelia had dumped him because he was broke. By the afternoon, he had become a trillionaire.

The feeling was surreal to Brentley. "I wonder what Ophelia would think if she knew I had all this money now!" he thought, glancing at the backs of Ophelia and Colby.

The class soon ended.

"Hey everyone, let's go out tonight and have dinner together!" A beautiful girl stood up and called out with a cheerful smile after the teacher left.

Brentley couldn't help but look at her. She wore a short, plaid knit top that outlined her figure, and tight denim shorts that hugged her curves. Her long, straight legs were complemented by a pair of canvas shoes, making her look vibrant and full of energy. This girl was Felicity, the class president. Felicity was kind-hearted and innocent, never looking down on Brentley for being poor. In fact, she had helped him many times.

"Yay, we finally get to eat out!"

"The class president has spoken, we have to follow!"

The students in the class began to respond enthusiastically.

Graham quickly ran over to Brentley, throwing an arm around his neck. "Brentley, you should come with us today! It's been a while since our class had a gathering…” "Graham, why are you inviting that poor loser? He can't afford to join us..." A girl in a white dress named Farrah, shouted at Graham arrogantly.

Brentley couldn't help but look up at Farrah. She was Ophelia's close friend, came from a well-off family, and was quite pretty. Farrah looked down on Brentley and often humiliated and bullied him. Brentley tolerated her because he knew she had a thug boyfriend outside of the campus.

Ophelia had dumped Brentley for Colby, largely due to Farrah's influence.

"Yeah, how could a broke guy like Brentley afford to join us?" Ophelia's other friend, Taylor, chimed in.

"Farrah, Taylor, how can you say that?" Graham shouted, clearly displeased.

"It's true, though. He can't afford it. Have you ever seen him join any of our class gatherings?" Farrah retorted, pouting.

"If Brentley can't afford it, I'll cover his cost. Do you really need to humiliate him like this?" Tyree, who seemed unable to stand it any longer, said with a frown.

"Haha, Tyree, if you're so rich, why don't you cover my cost too?" Colby said expressionlessly, hearing Tyree's words.

Tyree turned to look at Colby, a conflicted look flashing in his eyes. Although Tyree's family was well-off, they were nowhere near as wealthy as Colby's family, and he didn't dare to offend him. So, he reluctantly closed his mouth.

I'll cover Brentley's cost. We're all classmates, is this really necessary?"

Class President Felicity seemed unable to stand it any longer and couldn't help but shout with a frown. Colby paused upon hearing Felicity's words, a flicker of hesitation crossing his eyes, but he didn't say anything more.

"Class President, you don't need to pay. I’ll pay myself!"

At that moment, Brentley spoke up in a calm tone.

The entire class was stunned upon hearing Brentley's words, their faces filled with disbelief.

They never expected that Brentley, who had always declined invitations to gatherings, would agree to join this time.

Brentley was now a sophomore, having spent over two years with his classmates, but he had never attended any gatherings due to one simple reason: he had no money.

Colby looked at Brentley, hesitated for a moment, then said with a smirk, "Well, well, the collector actually has money for a gathering today? Brentley, we've known each other for so long, and you've never attended a single event. How about this, why don't you treat everyone to a meal today?"

"Brother Colby, can you stop joking? If this collector can treat everyone to a meal, I'll eat dirt right here!" a chubby guy shouted with a laugh.

"Alright, since everyone is so interested, I'll treat everyone to a meal," Brentley said in a very calm tone.

The chubby guy's smile froze instantly upon hearing Brentley's words, and the surrounding classmates were equally shocked. No one had expected Brentley to actually agree to Colby's request!

When Colby heard that Brentley Carter was really planning to treat the entire class to dinner, a flash of confusion crossed his eyes. He couldn't understand how a poor kid, who would do anything for money, suddenly seemed like a different person, willing to spend money on their class dinner.

Ophelia, too, looked at Brentley with a hint of surprise. But she quickly concluded that Brentley was just bragging. How could he possibly have the money to treat everyone to dinner? Ophelia felt secretly relieved that she had already broken up with him. In her Eyes, he was a good-for-nothing loser, not only broke but also boastful!

"What's up with Brentley today?" Graham's face showed the same confusion.

"What else could it be? Ophelia dumped him, and Colby insulted him. He's probably just trying to save face by agreeing to this," Tyree replied slowly. He then added, "But treating everyone to dinner would only cost a couple hundred bucks. We could help him cover it if needed."

"Yeah, I just got my allowance,” Graham nodded lightly, showing his understanding of Brentley's situation.

"Hey, Brentley, what's gotten into you today? Not only are you going to the party, but now you're also treating everyone to dinner. Is this for real or what?" Farrah shouted at Brentley with a tone full of disdain.

"Yeah, if you really treat everyone to dinner, Barrett will have to eat dirt!" Taylor chimed in.

Barrett was the chubby guy who had just said he would eat dirt if Brentley actually treated everyone to dinner. "Of course it's real. It's just a meal," Brentley replied calmly. Then he turned to Barrett and asked, "So, when are you planning to eat dirt for everyone to see?"

"Sure, treating us to a meal is fine, but what exactly are you planning to treat us to? You're not thinking of taking us to a street food stall, are you?" Barrett shouted at Brentley, his tone a bit awkward.

"Brentley is finally treating everyone to a meal. I doubt it’s going to be street food. At the very least, it should be the Prosperity Hotel!" Colby chimed in after catching on. "The Prosperity Hotel?"

Brentley couldn't help but shake his head slightly at Colby's words.

"Yeah, Brentley, if you take us to the Prosperity Hotel for dinner today, I'll eat dirt in front of everyone!" Barrett quickly shouted.

"Brentley, what do you say? Since you want to treat everyone, the Prosperity Hotel shouldn't be a problem, right?" Colby asked with a grin.

"No problem, if that's where you all want

to go, then let's go."

Brentley nodded lightly.
