"You really jinxed this family!" Damien shouted, pointing at Jason's face with red eyes in anger.

"I'm sorry, Pa," Jason said quietly.

"You think, sorry, you can get it all back? Do you know how much it lost? Can you get it back?" shouted Damien, who was really emotional.

"Remember Jason, it's enough for you who are poor, trashy, and useless; don't invite us!" continued Aice.

Jason still chose silence to hear the insults given by his mother-in-law.

"Already given a job at FNews and now causing trouble, costing us billions! My goodness, what else is this curse that befell us to have such a trash son-in-law?" continued Aice while glaring at Jason.

"Quickly leave this house, Jason!" shouted Aice, pushing Jason's body.

"Forgive Jason, Pa, if Jason leaves this house. Jason will take Esme," Jason replied, daring to look up at his father-in-law's face.

Again, Damien slapped Jason's face.

"You have no right to take Esme away; I will immediately have a lawyer arrange your divorce. Are you deaf? Didn't I say that before?" Damien asked angrily.

Jason then turned to look at the beautiful face of his wife, who was still looking down beside him. Esme shook her head sadly when she couldn't do anything to defend her husband.

"Esme is going with Jason!" Esme then answered loudly.

"Guards!" Damien shouted, calling his bodyguards.
