5. New CEO

Everyone turned around including the receptionist to see the source from where the sound came.

"Stop," the general manager said. Her face was pale, like the color of her face faded away in shock.

She had the phone in her hand and she was looking in her phone and then at Sebastian. It seems like she was trying to match the photo in her phone with that of Sebastian.

Because she was reading the email, Butler sent to her including the photo of their new CEO.

The general manager went numb for a moment. She was too shocked to say anything for a while.

She was terrified and furious at the same time.

Everyone present there did not understand the reason behind their general manager's action. 

They were also confused as earlier it was her who ordered them to arrest the delivery boy as soon as possible and now when they were so close to catching him red handed she stopped them and was busy staring at her mobile screen once and then at the delivery boy once at a time.

"But Ma'am it was you  who ordered us to arrest this delivery man as soon as possible as if the new CEO of our company will get to know about this then he would become furious.", One of the guardian said, coming out in front. 

The general manager came there and gave a tight slap on the receptionist's face, making her look at her with shock.

"I am really very sorry, Sir. Please forgive us for our mistake. It was done unintentionally.", The general manager apologized to Sebastian as he was offended.

"How dare you to insult and humiliate our new CEO of the company?", The general manager yelled at the receptionist turning towards her.

The receptionist now realized that the delivery boy was not lying that time and she misunderstood him totally.

She kneeled and begged Sebastian to forgive her for her mistake which she did unintentionally.

"Sir, please forgive my mistake. I was just doing my duty. There was no any hidden intention of me, to insult you here.", The receptionist pleaded with tears flowing from her eyes.

"Oh! Really? You are talking about your duty as a receptionist. Then, let me tell you that as a receptionist, it is your duty to respect everyone, even a delivery man.

 But you not only said those hurtful words to me, but also you destroyed my phone and never gave me a single chance to explain. In Fact, you not only humiliated me, but also raised questions on my parents upbringing. 

Indirectly, you insulted my parents too. So now it's my time to serve my duty and to punish the guilty so that in future the employees of my company take a lesson from this incident and won't dare to disrespect any person just by their looks and outfits. So now, your punishment is that you must be fired.",Sebastian sneered, shrugging down his shoulders.

" Sir please give... ", The receptionist pleading was cut in between by the new CEO of the company who was giving death glares to her.

" I am so sorry girl but I am doing my job and it's my duty to punish those who don't know basic manners and etiquette. 

If my employee behaved like you with other people then I am sure that it will harm the dignity of this company which I will never get damaged in my presence. 

So it's better that without creating any more drama as you already had done a lot previously, pack your bags and get the hell out of here and don't ever try to show your face to me or my company. ", Sebastian roared in his loud deep dominating voice making everyone shut their mouths in fear.

The receptionist started crying listening to his judgment but no one really cared and came to console her or raise their voice in favor of her. 

Sebastian left the place as he was in no mood to watch this drama for long and he was also in a hurry to go shopping so he chose to leave instead of watching the receptionist' fake drama, trying to gain sympathy and attention from him. 

The general manager took a sigh of relief when she saw her boss was leaving without punishing anyone else for their action. 

Then she turned herself and stared at all the guardians angrily. 

"Although the new CEO of our company spares you all, in this case I am not going to forgive you all so easily. There will be cut off in your salaries. So get ready for that.", The general manager announced and started moving towards her cabin when a voice of one of the guardians caught her attention. 

" But Ma'am what was our fault? Why were you punishing us without any fault? ", The guardian questioned in his trembling voice. 

" Because all of you started taking action against our new boss without giving him a chance to prove himself or say something that will explain his purpose of coming here. You guys, did not give him any chance to explain his presence over here.", The general manager replied, glaring at him, making him flinch at his position in fear. 

On the other hand, Sebastian rode his scooter to the bank because he needed some cash. He had to buy a new phone as his previous one was broken by that silly receptionist girl who later got her punished by him and also new clothes which suits his status now as he is the new CEO of the company. 

Because now he understood it really well that the society will judge people not according to their hard work, personality, nature and inner beauty but by their bank balance, outfits and accessories they carry just to show off. 

The best examples of this were his ex-girlfriend who was chasing a man just after looking at their bank balance and how rich and successful they are in their life and now the recent incident, the receptionist girl who judged him on his outfits and did not give him any chance to explain himself.
