Bit by bit, the medicinal paste took the form he was hoping for.

And weirdly enough, Adam found himself so good at controlling the medicinal herbs to proper proportions and achieve his desired level of medicine. Initially, he found himself to be a bit rusty with only his dagger and rocks. However, over time, his actions became so natural, making it a very smooth process.

After grinding the herb paste, he approached the mother wolf while ignoring the little one’s protest. However, this time, the mother dire wolf kept her silent. Maybe because she finally had some water given to her by Adam or she realised that there was no use in resisting against him.

Before applying the medicine, Adam had to check the wounds and made sure there was no serious bone fracture underneath them.

It was painful for the wolf, but he couldn’t give any sedative while the body was too weak. It may never wake up again after sleeping. Therefore, naturally, he had to ignore the painful whimper from the mother wolf
