Arthur Drake pushed open the creaking door to his quarters. The small room was a deliberate insult built right onto the side of the main Lotus Pavilion. It shared a thin plaster wall with the master bedroom where his wife and her lover were currently entangled. The space was cramped and smelled faintly of old wood and dust. It had been his prison for three years. Tonight it would become his throne room.
Serena stepped inside and froze in her tracks. She looked at the thin wall separating the rooms. The rhythmic thumping of a bedframe echoing from the other side cut clearly into the quiet space.
"They are right next door," Serena whispered. Her eyes widened with sudden panic as the reality of her decision settled over her. "If we make a single sound, they will hear us."
"That is exactly what I am counting on," Arthur Drake said. He locked the heavy iron latch behind them and turned to face her. "We are going to make sure they hear every second of this."
He stepped into her personal space. The dominant aura radiating from his newly formed Qi washed over her completely. He placed his hands on the collar of her blue inner sect robes. He pulled the silk down her shoulders, letting the fabric slide over her skin to pool at her feet. She stood before him in only her thin white undergarments. She trembled under his intense gaze.
The Blood Dominance skill flared in his veins. Crimson energy seeped invisibly into the air, wrapping around Serena like a blanket. Her skin flushed a deep pink. Her blood heated up rapidly under his command, making every nerve ending painfully sensitive to his touch.
Arthur Drake traced his fingertips down the side of her neck. He felt her pulse hammering wildly against her throat. He dragged his hands down her bare arms, letting his thumbs press lightly into her soft skin before settling his grip on her waist.
Serena gasped aloud. The heat radiating from his palms made her knees buckle instantly. She leaned her weight against his chest, her breathing turning ragged and shallow. The lingering grief over her fiancé vanished, entirely replaced by a consuming lust.
"You feel so hot," she moaned. "My skin is burning. I need you to touch me."
"Let it burn," Arthur Drake murmured near her ear. He kissed the sensitive skin below her jaw. He bit down gently, dragging his teeth across her collarbone while his hands squeezed her hips.
Serena let out a sharp, unrestrained cry. The pleasure was overwhelming. The passive aura amplified her arousal until her mind went completely blank of everything except the man holding her. She grabbed the collar of his torn shirt. With a sudden burst of desperate strength, she ripped the ruined fabric apart and tossed it onto the floorboards.
She pushed him backward toward the center of the room. The back of his knees hit the small wooden cot, and he fell flat onto the mattress. Serena did not hesitate for a single second. She crawled over his body and straddled his hips. She tore away her remaining undergarments, exposing her bare chest to the cool night air.
She sank down onto him, taking him in completely. A loud, shameless moan tore from her throat as their bodies connected. She arched her back, throwing her head back and closing her eyes as she began to ride him. The friction sent sparks of hotness through her heated blood.
[System Notification: Host has initiated Dual Cultivation. Blood Essence extraction commencing.]
Arthur Drake felt a rush of raw energy flowing from her body into his core. The system was feeding him power with every movement she made. He gripped her thighs, holding her steady as she picked up the pace.
"Arthur Drake," she cried out. Her voice was uninhibited, loud enough to echo easily through the thin plaster walls. "Arthur Drake, you feel so much better than him."
"Louder," Arthur Drake commanded. He gripped her hips tight, pulling her down harder against him to increase the depth of their connection. "Let your dear fiancé hear exactly what he threw away. Show them how a real woman screams. Ride me faster."
Serena obeyed blindly. Her body slapped against his with rhythmic, wet force. She screamed his name again, losing all sense of modesty as the pleasure built up in her lower belly.
In the master bedroom of the Lotus Pavilion, Clara lay flat on her back. Blake Mercer was moving above her, his chest slick with sweat and his breathing heavy. He was just about to reach his peak when a sharp, melodic cry pierced through the wooden walls.
Both of them froze instantly. Blake Mercer lifted his head, his brow furrowing in deep confusion.
"Did you hear that?" Blake Mercer asked, looking toward the wall.
Clara pushed his chest and sat up on the mattress. She pulled a silk sheet over her breasts, turning her head to listen closely. Another loud moan echoed from the servant quarters next door, followed by the distinct sound of skin slapping against skin.
"Someone is in Arthur Drake’s room," Clara said. A disgusted sneer formed on her lips. "Is it my father? Did the Sect Master bring one of his new concubines into the annex?"
"The Sect Master has his own private quarters across the compound," Blake Mercer replied. He climbed off the bed and reached for his discarded trousers. "No one is supposed to be in there but your crippled husband. And he was left bleeding out in the study."
The moaning from the adjacent room grew louder and much more frantic. Then a woman’s voice cut clearly through the silence of the night, echoing across the small courtyard.
"Arthur Drake! Yes, Arthur Drake!"
Blake Mercer stopped moving. The blood drained from his face in a single second. He knew that voice intimately. He had heard that exact pitch and tone laughing at his jokes for the past two years.
"Faster, Serena," a deep, commanding male voice replied from the other room. "Take it all."
Clara dropped the silk sheet. Her eyes were wide with pure disbelief. "That is my husband. He is alive. And he is in there with your fiancée."
"Impossible," Blake Mercer snarled. His face twisted with sudden, violent rage. He snatched his sword from the nightstand, his knuckles turning white around the hilt. "He is a mortal piece of trash. He does not have the strength to satisfy a cultivator. She would never let him touch her."
Another loud slap echoed through the wall, immediately followed by Serena screaming in absolute ecstasy. The sound was undeniable.
Blake Mercer threw his outer robe over his shoulders and stormed out of the bedroom. He did not even bother tying his sash. Clara scrambled out of the bed, pulling a thick wrap around her waist to follow him. The humiliation of her supposedly crippled husband sleeping with an inner sect prodigy under her own roof was an insult she could not ignore.
Blake Mercer crossed the short courtyard in three massive strides. He reached the door of the annex and kicked the wood with a massive burst of blue Qi.
The iron latch snapped in half. The wooden door shattered off its hinges and crashed onto the floorboards with a deafening bang. Dust plumed into the air from the impact.
Blake Mercer and Clara stepped into the doorway. The scene before them froze the air in their lungs.
Arthur Drake lay comfortably against the pillows of the small cot, his muscular chest covered in a thin layer of sweat. The wounds from his earlier beating were completely gone. Serena was straddling his waist, her pale skin glowing in the dim light. She paused her movement at the sound of the door breaking. She looked over her shoulder at the intruders. Her hair was a messy halo around her face. Her eyes were glazed with lust, and a triumphant, mocking smile spread across her swollen lips as she looked right into the eyes of her former fiancé.

A Bloody Genesis
The poisoned blade descended toward Donna. The green liquid dripped from the sharp steel, aiming directly for her paralyzed throat. She stared up at the featureless black mask of her executioner. The final distortion of the probability skill triggered. The concussed assassin lying on the cave floor groaned loudly. He woke up in a groggy panic, disoriented by the blow to his skull. He tried to scramble to his feet to rejoin the fight. His leather boots found zero traction on the loose dirt and spilled blood covering the stone floor. He slipped violently. He threw his arms out to catch his balance and slammed headfirst into the back of his leader's knees. The impact broke the lead assassin's rigid stance instantly. The killer buckled forward. A Bloody Defense
"Target the cook," the lead assassin ordered in a hollow whisper. The three shadows bypassed Arthur entirely. They rushed past the dead campfire and headed straight toward the helpless woman lying on the moss bed.Clark did not hesitate. The man stepped directly into their path. He used his massive frame and iron spear to block the narrow cave tunnel. He stood like a solid wall of muscle between the elite killers and his paralyzed rival."Cover my blind spots," Clark barked over his shoulder. He did not care about Arthur's miraculous breakthrough. Clark was a veteran squad leader who had survived a decade of brutal mountain warfare. He took control of the room immediately."Guard the flanks, physician," Clark commanded. "Do not let them slip past the spearhead."Arthur nodded. He raised Blood Drinker and moved to the right side of the tunnel. The assassins engaged. They moved with terrifying synchronicity. Their dark leather armor seemed to swallow the dim light of the cave. They raise
A Bloody Breakthrough
Arthur stared at the translucent red text floating in his vision. The system offered a ten percent chance of a double breakthrough. Orthodox martial doctrine dictated that such a low probability equated to a ninety percent chance of explosive death. A standard cultivator spent years meditating in a quiet room just to purify a single energy source."Put those away," Clark warned from the other side of the fire. The giant man watched Arthur holding the three glowing hearts. "Your meridians will rupture. You cannot process three high tier sources at your current stage.""He is a physician," Donna rasped from her bed of dry moss. "He knows the limits of his own body.""Knowing anatomy does not change the capacity of a human vessel," Clark argued. He stood up and took a cautious step back. "The raw vitality inside those cores will boil his blood. He will detonate inside this cave."Arthur ignored the giant squad leader. He focused his attention inward. He felt a strange and weightless sensa
A Bloody Harvest
Clark struck a piece of flint against a dry pine branch. The small spark caught the kindling, and a warm fire flared to life. The dancing orange flames pushed the freezing shadows back against the rocky walls of the hidden mountain cave. The brutal blizzard continued to howl outside the narrow entrance.Arthur knelt on the hard stone floor beside Donna. He had laid the Iron Chef gently on a bed of dry moss gathered from the back of the cavern. Her breathing remained steady but dangerously shallow. She let out a sharp groan and opened her dark eyes."Do not try to sit up," Arthur instructed. He placed a firm hand on her uninjured shoulder to keep her pinned to the moss. "Your chest just sustained a massive kinetic impact."Donna gritted her teeth. She looked down at her shattered leather armor. A thick layer of green coagulant paste covered her ribs, sealing the external wounds."My lungs burn," Donna rasped. Her voice sounded like grinding stones."I extracted three shattered bone frag
A Bloody Predator
The heavy horn swept through the freezing mist. Arthur watched the thick bone arc toward his ribs. He tried to push his body sideways to evade the lethal blow. His mortal reflexes betrayed his intent. The blunt weapon slammed into his side with a sickening crunch.Pain flared across his chest. The kinetic force threatened to throw him off the shifting gray hide. He refused to fall into the snow. He dropped his sword hand away from his weapon. He reached out and grabbed the jagged ridges of the massive horn.He pushed a dense layer of crimson Qi into his bare fingertips. The spiritual energy activated his Level Two Bone Crushing Grip. His fingers dug deeply into the solid calcium."He took a direct hit," Clark yelled. The giant man clutched his broken chest plate. "The beast is going to crush him.""He is still holding on," Donna shouted back. She pointed her short iron dagger upward. "Look at his hands.""You need to jump off," Clark ordered loudly. He stared at the young physician cli
A Bloody Gamble
Donna did not wait for the beast to finish intimidating them. She launched herself into the freezing air. Her boots kicked off a jagged stone, propelling her high above the deep snow. She raised her polearm over her head. The iron cleaver caught the dull morning light. She brought the weapon down with a terrifying roar of pure physical exertion. The blade struck the thick bone plating on the beast's front arm.A sharp crack echoed through the mountain pass. The iron blade actually bit through the natural armor. A spray of dark blood erupted from the wound.Arthur watched in genuine surprise. His medical vision confirmed the sheer density of those bone plates. Clark had shattered his own armor and nearly dislocated his shoulders just trying to dent the beast. Donna had bypassed the sheer density through absolute, terrifying raw power. The beast roared in pain. It stumbled backward and shook its bleeding arm. The wound was shallow, but it proved the monster was mortal.Clark stared up fr
