Chapter 1280 Explaining to Children

In Josias's office, he and Melissa are tasked with the arduous task of telling their children that they will no longer live together as a family.

“What happened, father?” Alan asks curiously.

“Alan and Caroline: Most of all, I want you both to know that I will always love you.” Josias begins.

“No, little girl. Mom and Dad will no longer live as husband and wife. You will live with Mom, Grandpa Simeon, Grandma Dora, and Great-Grandpa Carlos.”

Alan frowns, “What about Uncle Will?”

“Uncle Will is getting another house,” Josias responds, and to his surprise, Alan sighs in relief.
