Three days after the confrontation on campus, Harry was studying in the university library when a soft voice interrupted his concentration.

"Henry?"

He looked up to see Victoria standing nervously beside his table, glancing around as if afraid someone might see her.

"Victoria," Harry said, closing his textbook. "What brings you here?"

"I needed to talk to you," she said quietly, taking the seat across from him. "Away from my family."

She's being secretive, Harry observed. That's new for her.

"I wanted to thank you again," Victoria continued, her voice barely above a whisper. "For saving my life, and for saving my father."

"You already thanked me," Harry replied. "Multiple times."

"I know, but..." Victoria hesitated, then leaned forward. "Henry, I need to ask you something, and I need you to be honest with me."

"What is it?"

Victoria glanced around the library again before speaking. "How did you know? About my accident, about the poison—how did you know exactly what would happen?"

Alfred looked at Harry's face—at the absolute certainty in his expression—and his skepticism faltered. "You really believe this was more than a dream.""I know it was," Harry replied. "Alfred, in my first life, I never had prophetic dreams or visions. But after I was reborn, I gained abilities I didn't have before—the danger sense, the enhanced healing, the strength. What if I have other abilities I haven't discovered yet? What if the connection to Lily—our shared bloodline—is allowing me to sense her somehow?""That's a significant leap in logic," Alfred cautioned."Is it?" Harry challenged. "Alfred, you've seen what I can do. You know I'm not normal. Why is it so hard to believe I might be able to sense someone I'm genetically connected to?"Alfred was quiet for a long moment. "What do you want to do?""I want to test something," Harry said, standing up. "If my healing powers can affect others, if I can sense danger before it happens, maybe I can sense life forces too. Especially so

Harry was pulled into sleep despite his racing mind, exhaustion finally overwhelming his body. But the sleep that came was unlike anything he'd experienced in either of his lives. The dream started simply enough—darkness gradually giving way to a dim, sterile light. But then the scene sharpened with unnatural clarity, more vivid than any normal dream. He found himself standing in a small, windowless room with white walls that seemed to press inward. Medical equipment lined the walls—monitors, IV stands, machines Harry didn't recognize. The air felt cold and clinical. On a narrow medical bed in the center of the room lay a young woman.Harry's breath caught. She had long dark hair, matted and lifeless against the pillow. Her features—the shape of her eyes, the line of her jaw, even the way her ears curved—were strikingly similar to his own. She looked to be in her early twenties, thin and pale, her skin almost translucent under the harsh fluorescent lighting. She was curled up despite

"In business circles, Marcus Thornfield is known as 'The Vulture,'" Michael explained. "He targets successful mid-sized companies, destroys them through market manipulation and corporate espionage, then buys them for pennies and strips them for parts. He's ruined dozens of businesses and thousands of lives.""How does he get away with it?" Harry asked."Because he's careful," Michael replied. "Everything he does is technically legal. He exploits loopholes, uses shell companies, hires the best lawyers. By the time anyone realizes what's happening, it's too late.""Then we'll have to be smarter than his previous targets," Harry said with determination. "Michael, I'm not letting some corporate raider destroy what my father built. We'll fight back.""I hope you're right," Michael said, though he looked doubtful. "Harry, I've seen what Thornfield does to people who oppose him. It's not pretty."That evening, Marcus Thornfield sat in his penthouse office, a satisfied smile on his face as he

Harry sat in the executive conference room at TechNova, trying to focus on the meeting ahead despite his exhaustion. He'd gotten eight hours of sleep for the first time in days, but his mind was still consumed with thoughts of Lily and the pattern of kidnappings he'd uncovered."Harry, are you with me?" Michael Chen asked, concern evident in his voice."Yes, sorry," Harry replied, forcing himself to focus. "You said this Marcus Thornfield requested an urgent meeting?""Demanded, more like," Michael corrected. "His assistant called yesterday saying Mr. Thornfield had a business proposal that required immediate attention. I tried to postpone, but he insisted it couldn't wait.""What do we know about him?" Harry asked."Marcus Thornfield, fifty-eight years old, CEO of Thornfield Industries," Michael read from a file. "His company has stakes in pharmaceuticals, technology, real estate, energy—basically everything. Net worth estimated at twelve billion dollars.""And he wants to meet with

"I don't know," Harry replied, not looking up from his computer. "Alice, I'm close to something. I think I've found a pattern in the kidnappings. If I can just—""Harry, stop," Alice interrupted, crossing the room to kneel beside his chair. "Look at me."Harry finally turned, and Alice could see the guilt and pain written across his face."You need to rest," Alice said gently. "You're destroying yourself.""I don't deserve rest," Harry replied bitterly. "Not while Lily is out there somewhere, probably suffering, probably thinking I abandoned her. I failed to protect her, Alice. I was her big brother and I failed.""You were ten years old," Alice said firmly, taking his hands. "Harry, you were a child. What happened to Lily wasn't your fault.""I looked away," Harry's voice broke. "For two minutes, I looked away, and she was gone. If I'd just been paying attention—""Then you would have been traumatized watching armed men kidnap your sister," Alice interrupted. "Or worse, you would hav

For three days, Harry barely left his apartment. The space transformed into a makeshift investigation headquarters—walls covered with photographs, timelines scrawled on whiteboards, stacks of police files and documents covering every surface.Alfred brought food that went mostly untouched. "Harry, you need to eat something.""I'm not hungry," Harry replied without looking up from the computer screen. "Alfred, look at this. The police investigation went cold after six months. Six months! They gave up on her.""They didn't have any leads," Alfred said gently. "Harry, they tried—""They didn't try hard enough!" Harry snapped. "She was a five-year-old girl. They should have kept searching forever."Alfred sighed but didn't argue. He recognized the guilt driving Harry's obsession and knew nothing he said would help.Through connections Gage provided, Harry accessed the original police files from Lily's case. He also enlisted help from TechNova's tech team—employees loyal to him who didn't
