Silence fell over, but the tension in the room rose drastically. It was palpable, mixing with the air and suffocating everyone.

Not a single scratch from a chair. The wall clock on the wall ticked louder now, the distance horn of automobiles and the cooling air system whispered louder like a threat.

Shoulder slumped, head tilted and eyelashes lowered in raw defeat.

What could have caused such an eerie silence during that lively hour of the day.

It is not a rumour. People had been rejected at by Globulex. Firms powerful enough to change the direction of a sector of an economy, giant investor, timeless dealers...some of these important personalities and socialites who can alter the second hand of time had been rejected by Globulex. Not a second chance for consideration. Some didn't even make it past the guards at the gate.

Globulex don't just deal with people, they select few; Grainy few to work with. It wasn't about money because money had been rejected by them.
