CHAPTER 11BOY’S DORM In the boy’s dorm, Cole laid asleep. HUNTER’S DAY VENUE, HOLLOWEREPrincipal Diana stood a distance from Mayor Mulligan. Mayor Mulligan was a tall, black broad man with short hair. He wore a dustercoat with a fedora hat. He looked around, then leaned closer “How have you been doing?” he asked, his tone caring “I’ve been okay. HALLWAYIn the hallway afterward, students chattered indistinctly.
