Chapter 1 – The Cursed Heir
"Fairy Xin’er, have you heard?”
An immortal maiden drifted through the endless sky, her robes flowing like mist among the clouds. Her tone was light, almost playful. “They say the Dao God was once a talentless mortal.” Fairy Xin’er’s brows knit together in displeasure. “What absurd rumor. A Dao God, talentless? Those fools truly have no sense.” The other immortal let out a quiet laugh, though a trace of doubt lingered in her gaze. “I thought so too. If such nonsense were true, then anyone could become a Dao God.” Their laughter scattered across the heavens, casual and dismissive. None of them noticed the figure standing beyond the countless realms. A man with dim, unreadable eyes gazed down at the vast expanse of existence resting beneath his will. His voice was calm. Too calm. “I envied the gifted.” “I resented the blessed.” “I chased miracles… yet every one of them withered within my body.” A faint breath escaped his lips. “I cursed my fate. I cursed the heavens. I even cursed the blood that birthed me.” Silence stretched across the void. “And yet, I never stopped.” His fingers slowly closed, as if grasping the very laws of existence. “I wagered the only thing I ever possessed.” “My humanity.” His eyes reflected countless collapsing worlds. “And in return… I obtained everything.” The heavens trembled faintly. “I do not regret it.” His gaze grew colder. “Even if time reversed, I would walk the same path again.” A quiet pause. “For I, Han Tian Yi, have never knelt. Not to heaven. Not to fate. Not even to death.” The void shattered. “WHYYY?! WHY CAN’T I GATHER SPIRITUAL ENERGY?!” A child’s furious scream echoed within the training hall. Ten-year-old Han Tian Yi stood trembling, his fists clenched so tightly his knuckles turned pale. The cultivation manual in his hands fell to the ground with a dull thud. Again. Failure. Always failure. “No… no… this is wrong…” His breathing grew uneven as he rushed toward the inner chamber. “He cannot cultivate? Impossible!” Han Fei Yu’s voice rang out like thunder. “Our Han Clan has produced Immortals for generations. My son cannot cultivate?” Divine physicians were summoned one after another. Each examination took longer than the last. Each result grew heavier than the previous. Finally, the tenth physician stepped forward, his face drained of color. “P-Patriarch… Young Master possesses a Cursed Body Constitution.” The hall fell silent. Han Fei Yu’s aura surged. “Explain. Clearly.” “T-This constitution prevents the formation of spiritual roots. No matter the method, no matter the resources… he will remain a mortal for life.” The words struck harder than any blade. Han Tian Yi’s pupils trembled. “That is impossible!” he snapped. “My parents are both Immortals! Examine me again!” They did. Again and again. The result never changed. Cursed. The heir of an immortal clan… born without the ability to cultivate. “I won’t accept it,” he whispered. From that day onward, the library became his prison. Ancient records. Lost scriptures. Forbidden texts. He read everything. If one book failed, he opened ten more. If one method failed, he searched for a hundred alternatives. Years passed like drifting dust. Divine elixirs were consumed. Miracle medicines were swallowed. Secret techniques were tested in silence. Nothing changed. It was as if the heavens themselves had carved a seal into his flesh. Mortals lived a hundred years at most. Immortals lived for thousands. For Han Tian Yi, that difference was more terrifying than death. Ten years later, the clan welcomed a new child. His younger brother. Born with a heaven-blessed constitution. A prodigy from birth. Servants whispered in corners. Elders sighed in disappointment. Even his parents gradually shifted their attention. The cursed elder. The chosen younger. A perfect irony. “This is not fate,” Han Tian Yi muttered softly within the library, his eyes bloodshot yet steady. “This is a cage.” Instead of despair, something else took root. Obsession. He began deciphering ancient scripts untouched for centuries. Hidden sections of the library slowly opened before his persistence. Records forbidden even to core elders fell into his hands. Light was no longer enough. So he stepped into shadow. A month later, the clan made its decision. His title as heir was revoked. Given to his five-year-old brother. Han Tian Yi stood in silence as the decree was announced. No outburst. No protest. Only stillness. That night, he continued reading as if nothing had changed. When his father personally came to offer him the position of strategist, the young man lowered his head respectfully. “Do not worry, Father,” he said gently. “I will devote myself to the prosperity of the clan.” Relief flashed across Han Fei Yu’s face. But the moment the door closed, the gentle expression on Han Tian Yi’s face faded. Coldness replaced it. “A strategist,” he murmured. A faint laugh escaped him. Quiet. Hollow. “You truly believe I will remain beneath others forever.” His fingers tightened around an ancient scroll. “They took my title. My recognition. My future.” His eyes stopped on a single hidden passage within the text. A method. A forbidden method to alter one’s cursed constitution. But the requirement was simple. And cruel. To obtain the complete scripture, one must acquire the ancient archives of the Yu Clan. The mortal enemy of the Han Clan. Silence filled the room. Then, slowly, Han Tian Yi smiled. The heavens had sealed every path before him. So he would carve a new one himself. Even if that path was paved with betrayal.Expand

Dao God of the Demonic Path Chapter 33 – Marriage Invitation
When Chi Ling descended, Han Tian Yi bowed slightly as if he was already expecting him.Chi Ling felt something strange inside him when he looked at Han Tian Yi. His divine sense brushed past the youth and he sensed something amiss."What? A nascent soul peak stage at the age of thirty?"He immediately walked closer to Tian Yi.“Tell this old man… have you taken a Dao companion?”A genuine look of surprise flashed across Han Tian Yi’s face. He had not expected such a question but in the next breath, he understood its intent.Han Tian Shi’s spiritual root was the Primordial Root of Chaos — a body blessed for cultivating. In most ordinary immortal clans, Nascent Soul was already the limit of a patriarch, and even talented cultivators required centuries to reach it.Chi Lingyun was considered a genius after reaching it at sixty-nine. But of course, it was because he was from one of the Ten Great Clans. If such a person was considered a genius…what of Tian Shi, who reached it at thirty? H

Dao God of the Demonic Path Chapter 32 – Baiting the True Immortal expert
People followed them into the training ground. Shin Tao and Zhang Zhi also moved with the crowd.Low sighs and murmurs rippled through the spectators. The city was filled mostly with Chi clansmen; their secluded domain lay only a few miles away. To them, this duel already had a predetermined outcome.Chi Lingyun’s laughter echoed across the training ground—wild and unrestrained. He was completely confident he would win again. At sixty-nine years old, he had already reached the Nascent Soul Peak, a realm that most cultivators required more than a hundred years to achieve. If not for his arrogant temperament, he would have been the pride the Chi Clan boasted to the world.“I’ll give you a chance, young man,” Chi Lingyun said arrogantly. “Kneel like a dog and beg for my forgiveness, and I might grant you a painless death.”Han Tian Yi looked at him and sighed faintly. In his previous life, he had once been like this man. And his ending had been… pathetically miserable."This kind of pers

Dao God of the Demonic Path Chapter 31 – Chi Clan, one of the ten great clans
The massive doors of the Great Hall slammed against the stone walls, the boom echoing through the rafters and cutting the Council of Elders' debate dead. Chi Dong stumbled onto the polished floor, his chest heaving as he gasped for air, his robes matted with grime and sweat. Every head at the long table turned, their eyes flashing with a mix of shock and rising irritation. His grandfather, the Clan’s Third Elder, surged to his feet. The heavy wooden chair screeched back, nearly toppling over from the sheer force of his movement. He loomed over the table, his thick muscles coiling like iron cables under his skin as his face darkened with rage. The pressure of a Strength Path expert surged from his body."Chi Dong! Have you lost your mind?!" the old man roared, the sheer volume of it vibrating the tea cups on the table. "To barge into a council meeting without rites! Do you think being my grandson grants you the right to treat your elders like thin air? You truly have no eyes! Speak,

Dao God of the Demonic Path Chapter 30 – Arrogant Young Master of the Chi Clan
The air in the city’s finest tavern was thick—cloying with aged spiritual wine and the heavy, sweet rot of expensive incense. Chi Lingyun slammed his jade cup down. The crack echoed, silencing the room. He gulped the burning liquid, wiping a trail of wine from his chin with a silk sleeve. His eyes were bloodshot, shimmering with a haughty, drunken heat. "Chi Lingyun, enough," his cousin hissed, leaning into his space. "The Patriarch is waiting. If you are late again—" "Quiet." Lingyun didn't even look at him. He waved a hand as if swatting a gnat. "Father will forgive me. In this territory, the blood of the Chi Clan is law. Drink! Everything on my tab!" The tavern erupted, but the cheers felt thin—practiced, fearful. Cultivators bowed low, their flattery filling the room like smoke. Lingyun basked in it, his chest swelling, until his gaze snagged on the window. Three figures. Their backs were turned. T They hadn't moved, hadn't bowed, hadn't even paused their conversation.

Dao God of the Demonic Path Chapter 29 – Absurdity of Luck
At the edge of the training grounds, amidst the echoes of clansmen exchanging pointers, Zhang Xing’er’s voice wavered."What are you saying, Brother? You would truly follow Senior Brother to the Higher Realm?" Her eyes were wide with a shaky fear. "The danger there is far too great!"Zhang Zhi shook his head, his face composed."Little Xing'er, Master is doing this so I can temper myself through real combat. We cannot simply rely on the Master’s grace forever. We cannot repay our debt to him yet, but at the very least, we can offer our strength to his clan.""Then I will go with you!" she declared, her voice now ringing with determination.Zhang Zhi reached out and patted her head."Little Xing'er, Senior Brother Tian Shi… I mean, Master, specifically commanded that you cannot come.""What? Why?""It is because..." Zhang Zhi paused, looking at her with a steady gaze. "Master’s word is final, Xing’er. To him, you are a candle in a hurricane until you reach the Nascent Soul realm. He wo

Dao God of the Demonic Path Chapter 28 – Setting Sails for the Mythical Beast Realm.
Having solidified his determination, there was no turning back now."To stabilize my foundation, the Dragon-Marrow Elixir is the only viable path."The faint, rhythmic tapping of his finger against his chin abruptly ceased."While the Mythical Beast Realm is a den of monsters, it is also a sea of opportunity for those with the wit to seize them."He set his next destination: the Mythical Beast Realm."I should bring Zhang Zhi. The Dao of Fortune within his body will help me evade danger and secure opportunities."The tension in his jaw vanished, replaced by the ghost of a smile that carried no warmth."How fortunate. You can finally repay your debt."---As soon as the first rays of the sun appeared, he made his way to Han Shin Tao’s residence. It was no longer a strange sight. He was now the official direct disciple of Han Shin Tao, a position that granted him free passage to the Ancestor’s mountain.Han Shin Tao had a conflicted gaze."This brat... whenever he seeks me out, trouble
