Yao did not like the fact that he was being unjustly accused of wanting to steal the ceaseless impetus… so he frowned deeply while giving Shang Yi a dark look.

Shang Fa was so preoccupied with Ancestor Shang’s sword storm that he was unable to stop Shang Yi from attacking Yao.

Shang Yi took direct action as interlocking shapes, formed from crevices of the spirit energy burning wildly in the atmosphere. Then sharply, they turned into spheres that were shot in Yao's direction at lightning fast speed.

Violet patterns streaked across the sky and impenetrable fortresses were erected, adjacent to these descending spheres.

Shang Yi’s eyes grew cold and he snorted. “I don't know how a mere spirit realm cultivator is able to achieve something like this, but I promise you this, I am unbeatable.”
