“Transport prisoner123 back to his cell” the boss said calmly.

In a meeting room, a large circular table could be seen worry about twenty people sitting around it “Sir the energy discharge was traced to be from inside 123, maybe he posses a unique genesis of some kind, the energy seems to be a part of him” one of the men in black said with a slightly frightened look, all the officials had gathered to discuss about Damian.

“123 is not a case for our department Boss and the offence on ground is something I suggest we dismiss” someone voiced out and multiple other voices supported, they felt the need to just dismiss and discard the matter of 123.

‘123 is not a case for our department but his genesis really interests me, but I shouldn't be running the department on interests…’ the boss thought to himself as he let out a light sigh “We'll drop the case” the boss said calmly.

“Yes sir” everyone chorused with a light sigh of their own as they felt as if a weight had been lifted from their shoulders.

“Dismiss,” the boss said, dismissing the meeting.

Damian sat on the floor of his cell waiting for the ones holding him captive to do something. After the fight, all that happened was him being immediately transported back to his cell, and the A.I voice telling him to wait for the superiors of the place.

In a dark office, the one called boss could be seen sitting at one side of a table and on the other end another man dressed in casual clothes sitting on a chair resting causally with his legs crossed at one end of the table.

“Kale…I know I'm not meant to ask you this but could you help me watch a kid” the boss asked, his tone polite.

“... Send him over” Kale replied as he stood up leaving the office before stopping at the door “You owe me one”.

The boss let out a sigh before mumbling a question to no one in particular “What can I owe him”

“Wow, this is where I'll be staying now” Damian blurted out accidentally it wasn't like he was overly surprised, it was written all over his face that the house looked inferior and he had seen better but the design was simply different from back on the island, “Lucifer your opinion” he asked internally.

“I'm just surprised that humans have evolved more” Lucifer replied with a tone lacking interest 

Kale briefly looked at Damian who started at his home like it was any other one before turning to face the house back.

“Have you seen better” he asked uninterested, after all he is an ss ranked Morgan one of the very few in this part of the city.

“Way better” Damian replied casually, “We were teleported here right” he asked a question of his own.

Kale was slightly surprised by his reply but as quickly as the face of surprise showed it was quickly replaced by that of uninterest, he nodded confirming Damian's question.

As Kale continued to walk through the cemented interlocking pathway leading to his home just a few metres away he suddenly stopped.

“I have just one rule for you” Kale suddenly stopped walking in front of his house giving a moment of silence, his voice sounding cold “Stay away from my daughter”, he said but by the time he was done speaking Damian was no longer by his side.

Damian stopped listening and continued forward from the moment he heard the word ‘rule’ from Kale's mouth, ‘rules’ were a part of his top 3 hate list, he hated the feeling of being restricted and rules do just that, since Kale wasn't really paying him any attention he continued forward without him noticing. As he stepped in through his ‘new home’ he was welcomed with a fist to his face which took him by surprise, not like he hadn't sensed it but it was too late and he wouldn't have even been able to parry or deflect it cause Lucifer was at the same time about fighting for control.

The fist sent him flying out of the same doors he walked through, before causing him to pass out in the air making him land a few feets in front of Kale who was just about to barge in to teach Damian a lesson.

Seeing him pass out in front of him Kale felt pity for the boy who couldn't even take a punch from his daughter, he now wondered what he was worried about.

Immediately a cute girl dressed in flexible oversized clothes, white trousers and shirt with a v-shaped neck.

“I'm sorry” she said, kneeling beside the unconscious Damian.

“Seems like you went all out” Kale said chuckling, “it would take a few hours” Kale said referring to the unconscious Damian.

“It's not funny…” Kale's daughter was speaking.

“SCREW YOU!!” Damian shouted his body shooting forward like a rocket holding Kale's daughter by the neck.

Kale wasted no time immediately following the boy, though he was shocked he had no time to remain so, pushing his legs off the floor, Kale left a mini crater where he took off from, immediately catching up with Damian who landed in his storage room, upon reaching him Kale immediately held his neck causing Damian to let go of his daughter and struggle before passing out again after a few seconds.

Kale quickly threw the body aside like a rag doll attending to his gasping daughter, none of them noticing Damian's hair colour reverting to how they first met him with red and yellow.

After an hour, Damian finally slowly opened his eyes and slowly got up, immediately a sudden slight headache overcame him causing him to groan and fall back to the bed he suddenly found himself on. Hearing the groan, Kale's daughter was the first to appear, this time dressed in casual clothes, then Kale.

“Are you okay?” She asked worried but also cautious of him, but then Kale placed his hand on her shoulder making her relax.

The headache was caused by the sudden knockout and also a rush of memories of what Lucifer did while in control.

“I'm sorry” Damian apologised with a nervous chuckle as slowly sat up, he raised his head to see the cute girl staring at him with a confused look.

‘Is he crazy or is it just his genesis?’ She looked at him confused tilting her head left and right slowly as if looking at him from a different angle would answer her thoughts.

Kale on the other hand seemed to be burning with rage, “Are you…” Kale was speaking before getting interrupted.

“Dad, it's okay just help with coffee” Kale's daughter interrupted him with a pleading tone.

“Fine” Kale then dropped his cold look replacing it with a caring and loving look to return his daughter's smile.

On reaching the door Kale gave Damian a death glare making him chuckle nervously.

“Two please,” Kale's daughter requested.

“Okay,” Kale replied, leaving the room.

–Sigh–

Damian let out a deep sigh, “What's his problem?” he said dramatically as he felt the pressure on him lessen significantly. The young girl in front of him looked more confused on hearing his words, she looked at him as if he didn't just try to kill her.

“I know you're there,” Kale's daughter suddenly said, staring at the door causing Damian to follow her gaze in that direction.

“Fine I'm going” Kale’s voice resounded from behind the door before finally taking his leave, it was only then Damian realized he hadn't left, if she hadn't voiced it out he probably wouldn't have noticed.

–Sigh–

The girl

let out a sigh of her own afterwards turning to face Damian who had also turned

to look at her at the same time.

“Do you

mind?” She asked gently, looking at the seat beside him.

“No not at

all” Damian replied after a while as he seized her up, the girl was clad in

short skirts and a sleeveless vest exposing quite a bit of skin but seemingly

understandable for clothes worn at home.

Just as

Damian was thinking of what to say the girl began to speak “Uhm, sorry

for the accident… I’m undergoing training from my dad… oh! Forgive my manners” the

girl was speaking before realizing something as she exclaimed with a chuckle “I’m

Sofia…Sofia Heart” Sofia introduced herself, she seemed to be extremely outgoing.

“Damian” Damian introduced himself.

“Who’s the kid?” Kale asked someone on the other end of the line.
