123 vs 122

‘Prisoner123…is that me, well that's what the A.I announces each time an officer comes here, does that mean I'm about to battle’ Damian thought to himself confused ‘And Lucifer still isn't responding’.

A few moments later a red rectangular spatial door appeared “Prisoner123 please walk through the spatial door” a robotic voice said.

Damian sighed as he stood up and began walking towards the barrier as he passed through. His vision suddenly changed as he appeared to be in an arena or some sort, there were many seats around with multiple other people seated on it, they appeared to be prisoners too.

Damian stood on an elevated platform in the middle, a warm light beam suddenly appeared a few metres away from him and when it died down in its place stood a shirtless person wearing white trousers, scars displayed all around his upper body including his face, his facial features and body was extremely hairy but he has a lost look, mindless like a zombie, his presence emitted a blood thirsty aura.

“Fight, fight, fight…” the other prisoners were cheering looking forward to bloodshed, a sudden green light beam emitted from all the spectating prisoner’s clothes and when it died down and eerie silence filled the arena, Damian looked around and could still see their mouths move but no sound could be heard.

“Prisoner122, Name: unknown, Genesis: intangibility, Ability: phase” In a dark room one of the officials read out the information they had on prisoner122 to the two figures standing at the front.

“Boss, are you sure this boy doesn't need a suit?” one of the officials voices out, they were the ones in charge with monitoring the prisoners.

“Don't question my judgement, if he is meant to die then so be it” the boss replied, his tone giving out a warning to all the officials including the one standing beside him.

“Begin” the A.I voice announced in the arena. Immediately the order was given prisoner122 dashed forward a wide crazy smile on his mindless face, as he approached Damian a golden light began to spread from his body covering the entire arena but then a blue barrier suddenly appeared it began to shrink suppressing the golden light until the barrier stopped forming a dome around the fighting arena.

“Shield protocol 010 successfully activated” a robotic voice sounded as the barrier turned invisible.

The entire fighting arena was glowing gold as prisoner122 continued forward closing in on Damian, about twenty metres from Damian he suddenly disappeared from sight, all the while Damian remained confused, he had lost most of his angel skills and trying to activate ‘invisibility’ didn't work while in the gold light.

He looked at his palms as he suddenly remembered his attributes ‘Hell flames’.

As he activated it from both of his hands the tip of his fingers lit up in low flames, it was like lighting ten candles.

‘What!’ Damian screamed internally, he suddenly sensed an approach from behind but he appeared to have been a tad bit too slow in sensing the approach, all he could do was turn around and when he did he could see prisoner 122 stretching out his right hand that was covered in the same golden glow, as his hand made contact with Damian's chest, Damian could feel a disturbance from his inside and his body becoming weak.

“I need more energy,” prisoner 122 said, looking more like a maniac now, blood pouring out from his mouth.

“The prey wasn't strong enough” one of the officials in the room repeated the Boss's phrase with a sigh.

“123’s ability is very complicated” another one of the officials stated.

“He claims to get stronger by consuming organs”

“That's why he was brought in for serial killing” the officials watching the fight from the screen spoke amongst themselves.

They had been studying 123’s ability for a long time and it turned out to be related to intangibility, in the gold aura he casted he could moved around as if teleporting but after serious observation he was changing his form into something akin to particles so as to move around easily, with the gold energy he could phase through items and even people that's how he made contact with people's organs as to how he ate it they never knew.

At this moment Damian's body could be seen dropping to the ground his eyes appeared lifeless, from the outside he appeared normal but if one was to take a full body scan of him, they would discover his damaged internal organs.

Damian's body could be seen on the floor laying what seems to be lifeless ‘I wonder if I had listened to him what would have happened, is this how my life ends…funny I never got to actually explore the world’ he thought to himself laughing at his himself, as his heart seemed to be taking it's last beats, prisoner122 turned around ready to take his leave with skips in his steps.

A dangerous aura suddenly filled the air as 122 stopped his steps and turned around only to see Damian back on his feet, the only difference people would miss was his hair was now completely red and his eyes were red, red mist emitted from his body suppressing the gold glow, as the mist filled the air, the barrier suddenly turned visible and could be seen vibrating.

A low glass shattering sound is heard as the blue barrier finally broke, “Shield protocol 010 breached, activating protocol 009, shield protocol 009 breached, shield protocol 008 breached…” the robotic voice continued the announcement as different shield protocols were being activated to try and contain the energy being generated by Lucifer, the red mist by now has filled the entire arena, the weaker prisoners were on their knees gasping for air while the stronger ones coated their bodies in their own energies to try and repel the red mist, “Shield protocol 001 activated…energy suppressor 001 activated…energy contained “ the voice sounded as the red blaring alarms died down slowly after the energy had been contained.

Lucifer the one in control now looked over to see 122 covered in a layer of gold energy, 122 dashed forward his eyes blinded by the will to get stronger, this time Lucifer made no move, as 122’s palm made contact with Damian's body, “Know your limits” Lucifer whispered.

–Bang–

A loud bang sound is heard similar to a mini explosion as limbs and organs could be seen flying about with blood raining down splattering all across the place but not a single drop touched Lucifer, prisoner122’s head could be seen on the floor over in the distance with a confused look.

“Weak” Lucifer said in a low tone but to the officials it sounded like he was beside them “Don't test the wrong prey, the outcome might not favour you” the officials felt shivers run down their spines, they felt like the words were directed at them, although his words were low it was surprisingly clear to them.

The red mist energy suddenly disappeared as the changes on Damian's body reverted his hair to the normal yellow with red touches and his eyes turned yellow.

“What just happened” an official finally voiced out after the long eerie silence.
