Meet the protagonist's mother

After entering the company, Axl looked around his surroundings. "Yeline Care" was the name of the company where Ye Feng's mother worked. It was a personal care company that was involved in the development and production of various products related to personal skincare, beauty, and cosmetics.

Axl went straight to the receptionist and said, "Hello, I have an appointment with your CEO."

"Do you already have an appointment?" The receptionist frowned. How bold of this young man to claim he has an appointment with our CEO so blatantly.

"Yes, I was actually arranged to meet with your CEO by my senior brother, Ye Feng. My name is Axl," replied Axl, remembering that it would not be appropriate to claim that he had an appointment directly with the CEO.

"Ah, so it was you. Wait for a moment," the receptionist said

Fortunately, Ye Feng had warned the receptionist about Axl's arrival beforehand, saving him from potential embarrassment. Soon, the receptionist girl at the front desk politely took him upstairs. The two soon came to the CEO's office, and the girl at the front desk motioned to Axl to knock on the door.

"I won't go in, you can talk to the CEO yourself." The girl at the front desk whispered a few words and winked at Axl before leaving. Axl nodded and knocked on the door.

"Come in." A cold but soothing voice came from inside, Axl pushed open the door and walked in. The office looks large, it is very neat, and the items are neatly arranged. It seems that the male protagonist's mother does things quite neatly. Thinking about it, Axl looked at his future boss again.

As expected of the male protagonist's mother, her name is Celine, although many people often refer to her as Lin Xilan since she moved here. She is the CEO of Yeline Care and also happens to be Ye Feng's mother.

Being of mixed Chinese-British heritage, Lin Xilan had a unique charm that exuded from her elegant and poised demeanor. Her long, straight, dark brown hair draped over her shoulders, and her beautiful, icy-cold face was perfectly complemented by the clothes that outlined her enchanting figure.

At this moment, she was focused on revising the company's plan, which showcased her excellent temperament and attention to detail. Even judging from her appearance, it was clear that she often took care of herself, as she looked very young. If Axl had not met her before, he might have thought of her as an elder sister due to the mature womanly aura she exuded.

Axl sighed inwardly, it's a pity, this woman doesn't have much role in the scene, she only lives a few chapters longer than him.

The only impression Axl had of her was that she was cold and beautiful. If he remembered correctly, the next plot would involve her, and it would also be her last chapter in the novel. After the incident, the protagonist would go crazy and unleash all of his madness to wage an all-out war against his enemies. As Axl was observing Lin Xilan, she also put down the documents in her hand and looked at him.

To be honest, Lin Xilan was initially reluctant to accept her son's proposal to assign her a bodyguard. As the CEO of one of the largest companies in the Capital, no one would dare harm her. However, when she saw Axl's attractive face and perfectly sculpted body, honed by his rigorous training in the mountains, he reminded her of the majestic Siberian Husky that she adored. Axl was the perfect fit for her.

Moreover, as Axl entered the room, he was quiet and attentive, not interrupting her as she worked on the documents. She was impressed by his sensibility and professionalism, and nodded in satisfaction.

"Are you my son's younger brother? Will you be my bodyguard?" Lin Xilan asked coldly.

"Understood, Auntie," Axl replied with a respectful nod, his gaze meeting Lin Xilan's. He made sure to keep his expression neutral and serious, aware that he was dealing with a woman of great power and influence. He knew that any sign of weakness or vulnerability on his part could be easily exploited, and so he made a conscious effort to keep his guard up and maintain his composure.

Lin Xilan's cold demeanor remained unchanged as she addressed Axl, "Let's make one thing clear, this is a professional environment, and I expect to be addressed accordingly. While you may be my son's junior brother, in this setting, you will refer to me as 'Boss'."

"Yes, boss," Axl nodded. Seeing her icy look, he couldn't help frowning. It seemed that this future boss was not so easy to get along with.  After a few moments, Lin Xilan called for her secretary to take the documents, then turned her gaze back to Axl, her expression unreadable.

"Follow me," Lin Xilan said.

Axl only nodded and followed Lin Xilan like a dutiful bodyguard. The two arrived at the underground parking lot, but Lin Xilan touched her pocket, flipped through the bag in her hand, and frowned.

"I forgot my car keys. Go to my office and get the keys in the drawer of my desk," she instructed Axl.

"Got it," Axl answered before heading back to Lin Xilan's office.

Axl entered Lin Xilan's office and began to search for the car key, but he suddenly paused. A thought occurred to him that Ye Feng's enemies may have planted a spy device in her office. Despite his desire to follow the original plot, he knew he had to prioritize his safety.

He quickly scanned the room and located the device underneath a bookshelf. Axl crouched down and examined it closely, carefully removing it from its hiding place. Instead of destroying it, he decided to neutralize it by putting it in a cup of water on Lin Xilan's desk. After making sure it was fully submerged, he wiped it off and placed it back where he found it. Satisfied that the device was no longer a threat, he resumed his search for the car key.

"Where is it?" Axl rummaged through the drawers, frowning. Turning drawer after drawer, he finally found the car key. He took it out, but when he did, he saw something in the drawer that made him freeze. He took it out and looked at it...

'Damn, this woman... Fuck, it's still wet in these parts' Axl thought. Of course he knows it, as a thug in his previous life, he often spent his time in the red light district and played all kinds of roles. Thinking that this female president is playing with herself. Axl's lower body suddenly bulged from his pants, but he suppressed it. He then threw it back in the drawer, but before that, he sniffed his hands and left the office.

"Ah, yes, the car keys," Axl exclaimed, a realization washing over him as he noticed he had become engrossed in Lin Xilan's toys, completely forgetting about the keys. He swiftly snatched them up and hastily darted away, urgency propelling his every step.

In the parking lot, Lin Xilan saw Axl coming back and said angrily, "Why are you so slow?!"

"Cough... cough, I went to the bathroom for a while," Axl made an excuse and straightened his face, pretending to explain plainly, but his eyes were looking at Lin Xilan's skirt.

"This is the last time. My time is precious, I don't want to waste it on something useless," Lin Xilan said coldly. She grabbed the key, turned around, and opened the car door.

"By the way, do you know how to drive?" Lin Xilan asked.

Axl nodded. "Yes, I do."

Lin Xilan then walked forward and gave him the key card. "Then you drive," she said, turning around and going to the passenger seat.

Axl was in the back, looking at Lin Xilan's hips swaying right and left. He couldn't help but imagine what had happened in the office just now.

At that moment, Lin Xilan frowned when she saw Axl not getting into the car and just staring at her.

"What are you doing? Get in the car quickly!" she yelled.

"Ah, yes, boss," Axl quickly replied, and he hurriedly got into the car to drive it.
