They settled into silence once more. Amelia half expected Coulter to go out of his way in order to rub things into Melissa's face. That, or that he would be completely detached. She wasn't sure which one she feared more since both would indicate that he, at least, to an extent, cared what Melissa thought, and maybe, even wanted to make her jealous.To her pleasant surprise, Coulter was the same person he always was.
