“It has been the best day of my life!” Elias spoke as he slumped down on his couch.“The news has spread quickly, and it will only be a matter of time before your name appears first on the chart.” Vira said, smiling, as she emerged from the kitchen.“What were you doing dear?”“Preparing something for you. Jace was walking down the stairs as he glanced at his wrist watch at every time interval.“Why the hell have I not seen Serex today?” he muttered under his breath as he hurried down.He had refused to take the stairs in hope to exercise his legs. Due to the fact that he had lodged in a hotel last night and Serex’s delay he was unable to hit the gym. Fortunately for him, his health had deteriorated by only 35%.“He has not even read or responded to my messages.” Jace added as he scrolled through the countless messages he sent to his assistant.[Hi Serex, I could not sleep at my house, so I checked into the King's Hotel. It was another day in Jace's life. He awoke on time because he had barely slept all night.The incident had left him in a state of instability. He had been thinking about who was behind that, but no one came to mind.After getting dressed, he checked his wristwatch. 9:00 am. The entire place was crowded, and he could not enter without being noticed by them. The front page had been flooded with a topic that seemed to swirl the minds of readers. It was reported that a strange man rescued a young girl from the flames.Though his identity was unknown, some speculated that he was not an ordinary man.Vira sat at a popular restaurant, flipping through the pages of an article paper. The topic had caught her interest and she had to get a copy for herself. She was completely engrossed in what she was reading while sipping a cup of hot chocolate.
