CHAPTER SIXTEEN

It was another day in Jace's life. He awoke on time because he had barely slept all night.

The incident had left him in a state of instability. He had been thinking about who was behind that, but no one came to mind.

After getting dressed, he checked his wristwatch. 9:00 am. Serex was yet to arrive.

“He had never been this late before.” he muttered to himself as he sat on the couch situated in his room.

The hotel was the most expensive in the city, and one that was up to his taste of luxury. He recalled hiding himself as he entered the place last night and let out a slight smile.

The entire place was crowded, and he could not enter without being noticed by them. He suddenly remembered the cap he had worn earlier and went to get it, hoping no one would recognize it from the viral photos. Fortunately for him, it went unnoticed.

They had ignored him as if he were a stranger.
