Laughing maniacally to himself, he retrieved even more valuable items than Nora’s gold bracelet as different kinds of thoughts kept entering his head. He was going to sell everything he was able to take from the rooms just like he had done with Nora’s bracelet. The thought caused him to think of himself as a genius as he went on with his evil plan. He was drowning in massive gambling debts, and if he couldn’t repay them, he knew he would be in deep trouble.
