CHAPTER 34

Alan was seated in his office chair, his finger flying across the keyboard with a flurry of efficiency.

He paused for a while to recall everything that his father, Mr. Greyson said. He wondered why he would have a mother he never knew or met.

Not like he didn’t meet her though - he was just too young to remember anything about her. The picture that Mr. Greyson showed him kept playing in his mind from time to time.

But why would his mother be a terrorist? His father was also dealing with cancer. He slumped his shoulder in dismay. It was really not a good day for him so far.

His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. It was his assistant - Ms. Harper.

“Sir, you have Mr. Reynold waiting to have a meeting with you Sir.”

“Mr. Reynold? I thought he was supposed to still be on duty.”

“Yes, he is but he has been insisting for the past hour that he needs to talk with you.”
