Chapter 11
The person calling him at that moment was his employer from the bar where he did his part-time work. The man was arrogant and wicked. He doesn't pay his workers' salaries on time, but whenever one comes to work just a minute late, he'll always deduct a few bucks from their salaries. Charlie had been so furious about it, but since it was the only way to support himself, he decided to stay. “You arrogant fool! Don't you know how to add ‘sir’ when addressing me, huh?” The man barked from the other end. Charlie chuckled but didn't respond. “I'll pardon you for that,” the man continued, “Now tell me, why haven't you been coming to work? Or do you want to get fired?” “Fired?” Charlie feigned shock. “Yes! Or do you think we're joking here? It has been two straight days and you haven't shown up at work. I—” “Do whatever is in your mind, old man,” Charlie interjected, his voice calm but rude. “How dare you talk to—” The man burst into rage from the other end, but Charlie wasn't done. “Wait, old man. I'm not done talking,” Charlie cut him off. “Do you really think it's worth working under you? Three months. For the past three months, other employees and I have been working under you, yet you haven't paid us. Instead of settling us, you are rather calling to threaten me with firing me. Who does that, huh? You want us to continue working on empty stomachs?” As Charlie said that, he felt a pang of emotion flood through him. Memories of the days when he went to the bar to work on an empty stomach, despite not being paid, crossed his mind. “Isn't that an extreme level of wickedness?” The man bulged and spoke out with fury. “Are you calling me wicked? In fact, you're fired! Let me see how you are going to pay your tuition fees. And yes, I don't want to see your face around these premises, begging for your unpaid salaries, or else, I'm going to break your legs! Nonsense!” The man was about to end, but then Charlie faked respect at the deadline. “Sorry, sir, please, excuse me,” he said quickly “You think you can beg me now? No! I have made up my mind. You're fired and that's finally!” “No, sir. I just have something to tell. Can you please, hear me out?” Charlie said calmly yet politely, a small smirk parting his lips. Hearing Charlie's soft voice, the man's anger seemed to melt slightly. “What's that?” Charlie took a deep breath first before speaking up. “Not to waste your time. I just wanted to tell you that you're very very stupid!” Before waiting for the man's response, Charlie sharply disconnected the call, giving no chance for the man to express his anger. What the man didn't know was that the Charlie he knew before wasn't the same Charlie now. Charlie is now the heir of a trillion-dollar asset. He has power and can control the world if he wants. Glancing and smirking at the man's number, Charlie muttered to himself, “He thinks I'm still that Charlie he usually orders around without paying? No, this is the new Charlie. I've emerged. From pit to palace.” He squared up his shoulders, a hint of pride in his voice. Just then his mind went to something. What the man said—-he (Charlie) shouldn't come for his three months’ unsettled salaries. His smirk didn't disappear. Instead, it increased. “That? Those salaries aren't close to what I'm worth now. But I'm going to take them all. He's going to pay me.” Then he checked the time. Realizing it was twenty minutes past 5 in the evening already, he flagged down a taxi to his house. Twenty minutes later, The taxi stopped in front of his house. He settled the driver, thanked him, and then walked to his room. Without hesitation, he pulled off his clothes, entered the bathroom, and started taking his bath. Ten minutes later, he walked out, wrapped his old, white towel. He went to his wardrobe in search of his cream to oil his body, but after grabbing the container, he couldn't help but sigh. There was nothing left inside the container. The cream was all finished. “This poverty ends this night,” he uttered, then reached out to another outfit, and slipped it on. He collapsed onto his bed, his stomach rumbling immediately. Truthfully speaking, he hadn't eaten anything since this morning. However, he had to man up, staying strong despite the hunger. Suddenly, his eyes caught a glimpse of the Amex Black Card that Donald had given him. He remembered him saying there was no limit to how he chose to spend. He grabbed the card, staring at it, suddenly feeling the urge to go to a nearby restaurant to have a substantial dinner. It was at that moment, he remembered something. He paused, a cold, mischievous smirk escaping his lips. It was the dinner party that Stella, his class representative, had brought up, inviting interested people to come along. Franklin and Megan, his ex-girlfriend, had laughed at him because he couldn't afford a place like that. He had also challenged Franklin that they should treat their classmates to dinner, and he had agreed, but laughed, mocked, and even called him a face saver. Nodding and smirking, Charlie mumbled, “I'll hold my hunger, wait until I get there to fill myself. And as for you, Franklin, wait until it's time only then will I show you what true humiliation really looks like.” With that, he placed his head down on the bed, slowly trying to fall asleep as he awaited the time to clock 9, the set time for dinner at Prime Restaurant.

Chapter 22: Charlie Disgraces Erika and Rachel
Chapter 22 Erika and Rachel froze for a moment at Charlie's cold voice, their eyes fixed on him with irritation. Never in their lives had they expected a day like this to come. “Are you going to take them off or not?” Charlie said, his voice sharp, snapping them out of their thoughts. Erika glared at him. “We will please,” Rachel replied, her voice trembling. “Then do it.” Erika and Rachel both hesitated. Taking a deep breath, their hands started to shake as they began to unzip their trousers, their minds filled with anxiety. Charlie stood there, watching them with blank expressions. They both paused simultaneously, staring at Charlie in disbelief. They were expecting him to stop them, but he wasn't saying a word. His eyes were occupied with anticipation, as if eager to see their nakedness. Their hearts pounded heavily. They couldn't imagine how to face Charlie in the future if they ended up sleeping with him in bed tonight. “Keep going. Don't stop,” Charlie spoke agai
Chapter 21: Take off your clothes
Chapter 21“What do you think you're doing, Charlie?” Rachel was yelling at him while striding behind him as they headed out. “We can't possibly do this to us just because you lent us a thousand dollars. It's unfair.”Charlie didn't halt. He didn't even turn to reply to her. When he finally got out of the compound, he then paused, turned, and looked at her. “Do you have the money with you to pay me back now? If you do, then pay me and you'll be free. But if you don't and also don't want to comply, I'll go back inside, take back my money, and leave both of you to face what awaits you.”Rachel bites her lips, unable to speak. “So are you ready to come with me in peace?” Erika, with a tightened expression, marched forward. “So where are you taking us to?” “You'll get to know, don't worry.” Charlie walked to the road and flagged down a cab. “Don't just stand there, you two. Get in and let's go,” he called out to Rachel and Erika. They both hesitated, their fingers fidgeting with the
Chapter 20: Follow me
Chapter 20 “What?” Rachel and Erika were momentarily taken aback. “You want to have Rachel and me in a room before you can help us?” Erika growled, a bitter, amused chuckle escaped her lips. “Are you sick in the head? After taking a proper look at yourself, you think you're worthy of having my friend and me just because of $5k?” Charlie didn't flinch. “If it's just then go ahead and provide it and don't call me!” Charlie was about to cut off the call when Rachel's voice quickly came out, “Charlie, please, wait.” He halted. “What? Do you accept the condition? Yes or no?” He asked. Rachel bit her lips, frustrated. Her face turned crimson as she held the phone. She never expected that Charlie was going to make such a demand. Trade by barter. She clutched her phone, agitated, but was masked by a faint smile and a soft voice. “Charlie, please, don't you think you're going too extreme? What will the students say if this gets to their ears? That we slept with someone like….I mean this
Chapter 19: On one condition
Chapter 19 Charlie did not need to be told what had happened. He furrowed his brows in surprise, staring at the screen. Was this really Rachel calling him to help them? Unbelievable! Rachel, of all people could be calling and pleading for his assistance? What happened to pride? He instinctively smirked to himself before turning serious. “So why are you calling me? What do you want?” He asked coldly, emotionless. “Charlie, please, we need $5k. We can't stand the wrath of the Prime Restaurant's chairman. Please, help us.” At that moment a different, but familiar voice whimpered, desperate for support. Charlie smirked again when he heard Erika's broken voice. “Why should I help you?” His voice was still cold. “What happened to Franklin you both were all worshipping a few minutes ago? Has his money all gone?” Rachel bit her lips, embarrassed by Charlie's words. She knew he was mocking them. She sighed exasperatedly, but kept her anger in check. She needed his help right now and s
Chapter 18: Charlie, please help us
Chapter 18Cold sweat broke on Rachel's forehead as she paused. A pang of heartbreak hit her as she watched Megan, her best friend, walking away with Franklin without turning back. Her jaw tightened, her face twisted with frustration. “Why are you stopping us? Franklin ordered the meal. You should go after him to pay and not us!” “Yes!” Erika quickly tilted her head, her voice breaking with emotion as she continued. “We only ate because he instructed us to. You can't hold us responsible!” “When you get to our boss, you can explain that to him!” The waitress replied apathetically. Then she turned to the security guards, “Bring them to the boss.” The security guard was about to grip Rachel when she yelled, stepping backward, her face twisted as if irritated. “Don't touch me, I'll pay!” He halted in his steps. “Just yours?”“For both of us!”A flash of surprise passed through Erika's eyes as she glanced at Rachel. She was her best friend and she knew every detail about her. Knowing
Chapter 17: Sorry, you can't leave.
Chapter 17 Everyone froze in place, as if struck by thunder. “That can't be possible!” “How can there be such an amount of money in that card?” Murmurs spread across the room with wide eyes, mouths covered with shock. Franklin, who had been waiting to mock Charlie, stiffened at a spot, looking at Charlie with utter disbelief. No, that can't be real! He can't have such money on him! He muttered, shaking his head. Megan was entirely dumbfounded, unable to speak. Her eyes bulged, refusing to believe what was happening. The Charlie she knew couldn't afford stuff worth $1k, but now, he just unconcernedly paid for such extravagant meals. How did he do? Did he win any lottery? She thought to herself. Duke, on the other hand, was no exception. He wore a shocking and skeptical expression if it was truly Charlie who was standing in front of everyone. He knew him in and out, and knew what he's capable of doing, but this? He couldn't fathom. All eyes were now on Charlie, but he pre
