“Hey, you guys shouldn’t worry about anything,” Dane said, raising his voice above the roar of the rotors. “Butcher gave me another order—I’m supposed to take you to meet a certain person. They’ll be waiting in a casino.”

“I can’t hear you, what’d you say?” Jimmy shouted back.

Dane waved him off. “Never mind.”

Four hours later, at exactly 4 p.m., the helicopter descended over the shimmering desert city of Gion. Its blades slowed, and the machine settled onto the rooftop helipad of a towering skyscraper—one of Butcher’s many properties.

The moment the engines powered down, Jimmy hopped out first. He stretched his arms wide and grinned. “Oh, finally. A fresh breeze. You can really feel it up here… even in the middle of this desert.”

Dane climbed down last, the black suitcase still gripped firmly in his hand.

Jimmy turned, his tone suddenly all business. “Alright. You guys should head to your rooms. Get some rest. Tomorrow we start—and collecting the mission, that’s on you. My job’s just

“Hey! Stop moving closer!” Alessandro barked, his voice cutting through the silence.“Please, put your gun down,” Jane said firmly, stepping forward.Alessandro’s eyes narrowed. He shifted the barrel until the cold metal pressed against Jane’s head.“Stop! Don’t shoot her, Alessandro!” Dane shouted, his chest heaving.Jane raised her hand calmly, keeping her voice steady. “Listen. I told you—I have a proposal. Put the gun down, and hear me out. What if I give you a million dollars?”Alessandro blinked, almost scoffing. “A million? That’s not enough. And how would you even give it to me?”Jane didn’t flinch. “We already gave you the cash we brought. But here—” she lifted her phone slightly. “I’ll wire it to you. Right now. No cops, no tricks. Straight to your account. You know as well as I do… no matter how rich you are, you’d never reject more money. Not even you.”The silence dragged. Then Alessandro’s shoulders loosened, the tension in his grip fading. He slowly lowered his gun, eye

  • Trust Me

“So now are you going to let me go?” Riccardo asked desperately. “I already gave you what you wanted. I told you everything.”Dane tilted his head. “Tell me again. What did you just say?”Riccardo licked his lips. “Leo… Leo offered me Butcher’s head. That’s why I funded him, gave him men, gave him power on the streets. I liked the offer.”Dane’s eyes burned. “And why did you need Butcher’s head?” he demanded, his boot tapping against the concrete in anger.Riccardo smirked. “Because I don’t like him one bit. With his head, the other mafia bosses would respect me. I wanted to keep it as a trophy, mounted in my living room.”Dane’s hand trembled on the gun, rage boiling over. “You’re pathetic.” His voice was low, cold. “And now you deserve to die.”The gunshot cracked through the air—Riccardo dropped instantly, blood spraying across the floor.“Hey!” Jane snapped, jumping back. “Why’d you shoot without warning? Now I’m covered in his blood!”Dane glanced at her with a crooked smile. “So

  • The Devil’s Deal

But Dane didn’t hesitate—he ran straight at them, moving like a phantom of death.Bang! Bang! Bang! One after another, the men fell. His shots were clean, precise, and merciless. Within minutes, the ground was littered with bodies, silence replacing the chaos. Dane wiped the sweat from his brow, smoke rising from the barrels of his guns.He turned back and walked into the container where Ricardo was being held.Ricardo’s eyes went wide the moment he saw him. “What? What the hell is going on? Where’s Fablo? Why isn’t Fablo here? He should’ve killed you already!”Dane’s face was stone cold. “He’s dead. I killed him—and the rest of your men.”“You must be joking,” Ricardo stammered, shaking his head. “That’s impossible. If… if that’s true, then fine. I won’t attack you anymore. I’ll just take my leave.”Dane chuckled darkly, a low l

  • Deadly Precision

Dane and Fablo continued exchanging blows, fists crashing into stomachs, ribs, and shoulders.“Fuck… this is insane,” Dane thought, gritting his teeth. “It’d be easier to fight someone my size. His punch is harder than mine—but I’m holding my own.”They traded punch after punch, sweat and blood mixing with the adrenaline coursing through their veins. At one moment, Dane swung a heavy punch, but Fablo dodged with lightning speed, grabbing Dane by the neck and lifting him off the ground.Reacting instinctively, Dane raised his leg, kicking Fablo and clamping down on his neck at the same time. Pain and force collided as they struggled midair. Finally, Fablo threw Dane to the ground. “So you lied to me and said you are someone you are not. You said your name is Francisco,” Alessandro said, his tone sharp.“I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to do that,” Dane replied calmly.“I don’t have a problem with you as long as you give me the money,” Alessandro continued.“Sorry, please… Mr. Alessandro, I’m talking to him. Give me some time—let me figure this out,” Riccardo interjected.“So, you fat man, what do you plan to do?” Dane asked, his gaze fixed on Riccardo.“Well, the lady by your side… you can’t protect her,” Dane added, his eyes narrowing.“Right. If you dare look away from me, then no. What will be left is your dead body,” Riccardo growled. One of Riccardo’s men stepped closer to Jane, assuming she wasn’t a threat. He grabbed her wrists. “Come here,” he said.Without hesitation, Jane raised her leg, her high heel connecting with his head. He collapsed instantly.Another man lunged toward her. Dane stood up and walked toward the travelling bag. He opened it.Hmm…” he murmured. “Bring it here. Let me check if it’s real.” Alessandro said.Dane shook his head slightly. “No. Let me see the diamond first,” he said firmly.Alessandro nodded and carefully brought the diamond out, placing it on the table. “Is this real?” he asked, glancing at Jane.“My diamond specialist is here. I’d like him to assess the diamond,” Jane said.“Okay… you may,” Alessandro replied.“Please, Jane, have him brought in,” Dane requested.“No problem,” Jane said. She stepped out of the container and called the diamond specialist, a hooded man carrying a microscope. He entered quietly and took a seat at the table, carefully examining the diamond.“Wow… this is legit,” the specialist said after a moment, eyes wide. “Yes, it’s real. Legit. Absolutely real.”Alessandro then turned to the money. “Now it’s our turn to verify if this cash is real,” he said.“No problem. You may proceed,” Dane replied. With a han
