Chapter 07 - New Quest

Mike took the paper and pencil from the Old man and started to do a rough sketch of the hand pump.

first, he drew two sides of a well and a long iron pipe at one side of the well from which the water will be drawn.

and at the upper open end of the well, there was a handle for pumping.

Inside the Iron pipe, he drew a circular plate-like thing that will be made of iron, and above it will be a layer of rubber with a check valve. it is drawn in such a way to explain that it will open when the handle of the pump is pushed downward and closes when it is pulled up.

A similar check valve is added at the middle of the pipe so that water can only enter from outside and should never go out from inside. and on the upper end of the pipe, a gear is fixed with the piston chain to create pressure and pull up the water.

He finished the drawing by sketching the head of the pump which covered the gear and a water outlet just below the handle.

As soon as he finished the sketch numerous systems invaded his field of vision, with an exclamation from the oldman.

"Excellent!!", the Oldman exclaimed seeing the sketch as his eyes sparkled.

Mike handed the sketch to him as he asked "So, I can use the machines now?"

"hahaha, of course, you can! how can I restrict someone like you...hahaha"

The oldman put his hand around his shoulders as he laughed like a maniac.

'With this money will come rolling...phuhahah' The old man was laughing inwardly thinking about all the money he would make.

Mike took the time that the old man was smiling by himself to check the quest, it didn't seem like anything special except the reward was in the questions marks. 

Mike pondered about it for a bit but soon brushed it off.

'Well, it will be revealed when I finish the quest anyway'

Mike was generally like this, not minding anything other than things related to his work.

"Then let's get to work!"

Mike took off to the workshop once again as the Oldman too followed behind him as if he was Mike's henchman.

On the television of a rundown house, a news commentator was talking about the current hottest issue, Genesis.

There has never been a case of any game creating this much commotion in the world. Currently, on every channel, be it an entertainment channel or a news channel, all they talked about is genesis, how has the ranking changed? who raided the new boss? who got the hidden class? like that there were plenty of things to discuss too.

The 'Genesis' has long surpassed the realm of 'just a game' and has now become part of people's daily life.

The people who worked hard and didn't get time to rest in the real world took advantage of 'Genisis' using its unique property, which made the time in the game 2 times faster than in real life. They did all of the things that they couldn't do in real life due to having no time.

Those who were disabled enjoyed the feeling of freedom and joy of being able to use their disabled senses.

Those who couldn’t aford to roam arould the world became wandering warriors.

The hype didn't just end for normal people but was extended to various fields such as medicine where interns were provided with dummy bodies for surgery. 

In the military, for training the soldiers.

In science, for various research, so no longer did anyone dare to say that "Genesis " is just a game.

Such being the case, people always paid attention to any news regarding genesis.

 {The world of Genesis has been divided into four continents.

Nethylore continent in North.

Gazelle continent in the South.

Zariya Continent in the East.

Alyanthi Continent in the West, and

The Central continent, Mathura.

Each continent contained several kingdoms and currently, all four continents are available for players to start their journey except the Central continent.

It was clear from the speculation that the players will head towards the Central continent as the game progress but that's the story of the far future so let's not talk about it now.}

A kid who seemed to be just ten years old muted the TV not being able to hear more of the bullsh*t.

He had pitch-black hair, twinkling blue eyes, and smooth skin which could be mistaken for a girl's, even with the old clothes he was wearing, he was excluding a unique charm to attract everyone towards himself.

"What bullsh*t! these people are all gone crazy!"

His cute appearance was ruined by the irritating expression on his face.

"All the people are simping over a mere game! ahh! it's pissing me off"

He looked towards the side where, inside an old room, an advanced capsule was laid, it was twinkling in contrasting the old and rundown appearance of the house.

"Tch! Even Ahjusis is affected by it now"

He clicked his tongue as he took the book on the table and started reading it.

On the cover page of the book was the title, "Living Robot - Vision of future by Michael Maran".
