CHAPTER TWENTY-FOURRiley stood right in front of the tall Arcane Headquarters mansion, the thought of the new beginning crept into his mind. He sighed greatly and looked around, and then he turned to leave.“Mira?” He whispered as soon as he saw the young beautiful girl approaching from afar. He looked carefully to be sure his eyes weren’t deceiving him.“What the hell is she doing here?”With the thought of uncertainty and confusion all over him, Riley changed his course and moved towards the girl who was approaching from a distance.“She looks like she is looking for someone, maybe she is looking for me.” Riley smiled at the thought of Mira coming to the Headquarters to look for him. He hastened his steps towards her.“Mira! Hey Mira!” He beckoned, but the lady in front of him looked confused for a few seconds. CHAPTER TWENTY-THREEMathew looked at the screen for the last time, then he sighed and pressed a key on the keyboard and the machine died out gradually with Riley reducing his pace.Meanwhile, Lucy who was standing at a corner had been looking at Riley with so much disapproval, she wondered how he had become so happy while he seemed unsettled a while earlier.“Can I come down now?” Riley asked as the machine died out gradually. He placed his hands on the handle of the machine as he tried to catch some breath.“Do you feel anything strange in your body?” Mathew asked from where he was standing.Riley looked at the man, then he turned his eyes to the machine, thinking about what the man said.“I don’t think so, just this sudden energy that engulfed me while I was running,” Riley replied in a low tone.There was silence in the

He sighed gently, and then he started to walk gradually toward the device while he looked at it with thoroughness.Riley was stopped from walking by the sound of the door which he heard opening, even though the sound immediately and saw Mr. Sterling walking in together with Sarah and Matthew.As soon as Lucy saw the three of them, she moved forward to the device and unbuckled one of the straps, making it ready to hold onto Riley’s hand.“Go on.” Mr. Sterling urged with a smile on his face, but Riley seemed to be skeptical about getting on the device.“What does it do?” He asked, stealing a look at the device.“We just want to check if there are any radioactive sequences in your body. CHAPTER TWENTY-ONEHe gasped as soon as the cold water hit his body, but it did its work by washing away the dirt all over his body, from his hair to his feet. He scrubbed his hair with his hands, down to his entire body.“Aw!” He groaned in pain as soon as he touched the spot on his leg where the monster had bitten him. The pain was much and forced him to bite really hard on his teeth, allowing his jaws to showcase themselves.After about thirty minutes, Riley managed to properly wash away all the dirt on his body as he watched it flow into the drainage on the floor, together with the blood from the several injuries on his body.He walked out of the shower and put on the black outfit he picked from the wardrobe gradually in order not to so much ignite the soreness on his body.“Perfect,” he said admiring his reflection in the mirror hanging on the wall by his right hand. He smiled for a while and adjusted some parts of the outfits, just to make sure they fitted properly.“Almost out,

S rank?” Riley’s mouth was agape as he turned to take a closer look at the machine. There it was, the blue S symbol that indicated that he was no longer F rank but S rank.“Is that even possible? To grow from an F rank to an S rank?”Sarah’s words met no response as everybody in the room including Riley was speechless.Riley gently lifted his hands and took a closer look at them turning them all over to see if he could see why there were differences in his body. He soon couldn’t hide the excitement that was concealed in his shock.Mr.Sterling took in some air to digest the entire situation, then he looked at Riley as he said.“Did the System also help you to get out of the dimension? We were sure that there was no signal from the dimension.”“Yes Sir, I was also able to kill two of the deadly creatures in the dimension through the help of the system,” R

CHAPTER NINETEEN“Can you just come out! Please?” He pleaded with the System but there was nothing and within a few seconds, he was almost at the door. Succumbing to his fate, he gave up every hope and kept mute.“What a crazy fellow,” Lucy said as she scoffed to the display Riley was putting out.Just as the guards were about to drag Riley out right through the door which was few inches away, the blue holographic screen emerged unexpectedly in a split second.[PANIC DETECTED: HOST IN DANGER!]“Oh finally!” Riley cried out with some relief in his voice.“Are you seeing that?” Sarah said, calling the attention of the three individuals standing right beside her as her eyes were glued to the blue screen that appeared before Riley.[ACTION: ENORMOUS STRENGTH TO WARD OFF ASSAILANTS][CLICK TO ACCEPT OR DECLINE][ACCEPT] [DECLINE]“Accept!” Riley said with a loud tone click on the icon with the last effort he had remaining in him as he managed to extend his right hand to the screen amidst
