Xai Lin had no time to react and was tackled to the ground.

While on top of Xai Lin, An Mo held onto her collar and began shaking her violently while yelling.

“Hurry up and undo the seal on my bloodline! If you don’t, then don’t blame me for being ruthless!”

“Ugh… You’re so damn heavy. Get off!”

“No! Not until you undo your seal!”

“Tsk…”

Xai Lin clicked her tongue and then tried to throw An Mo off her. However, An Mo gripped her tightly, unwilling to let go.

The two began rolling on the ground and quickly becoming entangled. Without their cultivation, the both of them had no means of defense or attack, so they could only use crude methods to deter the other.

Perhaps the two had considerations of their own as they didn’t attack each other by throwing out fists and kicks, but rather they started tugging at each other; with An Mo tugging at Xai Lin’s clothes and hair, while Xai Lin could only settle for An Mo’s brightly colored hair.

“Ah! Ah! You little bastard, let go of my hair!”

“Tsk!... You let go first!”

An Mo and Xai Lin both had a hand of the other’s hair, with one tugging to the left and the other tugging to the right.

They were now at a stalemate.

An Mo looked down at Xai Lin, who was beneath him, and that feeling of grievance surfaced again. He had done nothing wrong, so why was he being bullied like this?

Unable to take it anymore, An Mo said through gritted teeth.

“Xai Lin, don’t blame me for being ruthless! Since you want to eat me, then I’ll just bite you to death first!”

True to his words, An Mo endured his hair being pulled, and lean towards Xai Lin snow white neck with his mouth wide open, and teeth exposed.

However, before An Mo’s teeth could make contact with Xai Lin’s neck, something white and supple caught his attention from the corner of his eyes, and before he could think, his mouth moved and bit into that thing. But almost out of instinct he didn’t put much force into his jaw, and only bit it a little.

“Uhm…”

Xai Lin unconsciously let out a soft groan due to An Mo’s bite. It didn’t hurt, but a tingling sensation traveled from where she was bitten and shot straight to her head. It felt like an explosion had gone off in her mind, causing her thoughts and movements to stall.

Feeling the strange, but pleasant sensation between his teeth, An Mo couldn’t help but instinctively stick out his tongue and gave it a lick. Only then did he come back to his senses, and realize that what he saw, and what was now in his mouth, was Xai Lin’s earlobe.

An Mo thought back to when his face was buried in the crook of Xai Lin’s neck, and he had opened his eyes once to catch a glimpse of it then. At that time, because he was scared of drowning, he hadn’t fully paid attention to it, but even so, a faint inkling to feel it had briefly appeared in his heart.

It turns out that brief inkling had circled around to influence his current actions.

But An Mo didn’t immediately let go. He instead stuck out his tongue and licked Xai Lin’s earlobe once again, this time covering more surface area.

Xai Lin stiffen when she felt An Mo’s first lick, but upon feeling the second which was more brazen than the first, her face immediately flushed red with both anger and embarrassment.

“W-Where are you licking! Get off!”

Xai Lin pushed against An Mo’s chest to get away from his clutches, but An Mo reacted by shamelessly clinging more tightly to her.

“Heh. I simply won’t! Not unless you undo the seal!”

An Mo’s roguish words rang out before he opened his mouth wider and quickly bit more of Xai Lin’s ear.

“You… Wait… Stop… Stop for a second…”

Xai Lin started hitting An Mo’s chest with her little fists, but like a scoundrel, An Mo immediately refused.

“No! Not until you undo the seal!”

An Mo’s lips and tongue moved around the edge of Xai Lin’s ear and even made several attempts to enter her ear.

“That’s…”

Xai Lin couldn’t even reply properly, the only thing that she could focus on was those wet sounds in her ear, and the increasingly fast pace of her heart.

The force she was using to push An Mo was beginning to weaken, while a surge of emotions like waves upon waves steadily crashed against her heart, threatening to capsize it.

However, before it could capsize and she fully gave up resisting, Xai Lin made one final attempt. Her hand moved down and grabbed An Mo’s....

“Holy Shit! Where are you grabbing?!”

An Mo immediately reacted and backed away, but he didn’t dare move his waist too far. Xai Lin’s grip was like a vice.

“Q-Quick, let go! How can you just grab me there like that!”

An Mo instinctively held onto Xai Lin’s wrist, a faint red color appearing on his ears.

Xai Lin pursed her lips, but she still let go.

An Mo quickly moved away from Xai Lin and curled up on the ground not far away like a wounded puppy.

He turned to Xai Lin to voice his grievances, but the sight he was met with caused him to become stunned.

The clothes Xai Lin was wearing were the ones she had on when she was in the form of that old man, so those coarse clothes were slightly big on her small frame. But now that they were wet, they clung to her and slightly outlined that small frame. They were tussling about just now, so her collar was slightly torn. She had to use her hands to keep her robes from sliding down her shoulders.

The faint blush hadn’t yet left her cheeks, which caused her appearance to have a somewhat ambiguous feeling.

Xai Lin saw An Mo’s stunned expression, with pursed lips she snorted and turned her head away from him.

Hearing that snort made An Mo come back to his senses, but with Xai Lin’s turn he managed to catch a glimpse of her red ear that still had faint teeth marks and his saliva on it.

Thinking back to what he had just done, an intense blush appeared on his cheeks and quickly spread to his ears and neck. Even his chest, legs and arms turn slightly red.

“I… I didn’t mean it like that. I’m sorry, I just wanted you to undo the seal.”

An Mo stuttered out an apology, before he tactfully retreated a few more paces.

Xai Lin rolled her eyes upon hearing that.

She was wondering why this guy was so embarrassed when she wasn’t.

As for what just happened… heh, she honestly didn’t take it to heart. Even though she had accepted her current body, with her experiences from her past life, it was impossible for her to get embarrassed just because she came into contact with a boy. Not to mention that if she was to go by the age of their souls, by adding sixteen years of her past life to the fourteen in this life, she would be twice his age.

So, at most this brat was just a cute little brother to her. Though a rather disobedient cute little brother.

“Pah! Pah! I can’t swim in this form! I’m going to f*cking drown!”An Mo’s arms flayed wildly in the water as he tried to stay above the surface. With each sentence he spoke water flowed into his mouth, about to suffocate him.Xai Lin, who was bobbing in the water next to him, rolled her sparkling blue eyes.“Perhaps if you spoke less, you’d drown a lot less faster.”“Damn it… Pah! Pah! Save me!”Xai Lin clicked her tongue in annoyance but honestly went to help him. After swimming to his side, she wrapped one hand around his waist and used the other to paddle to the lake’s shore. An Mo hurriedly wrapped his arms around Xai Lin’s neck and clung to her with his feet. With his face buried in the crook of her neck, it was as if he wanted to be an extra appendage of hers.Xai Lin glanced at her newly added appendage; she wasn’t annoyed, just a bit speechless at his cowardly behavior. Though with a thought, she recalled a piece of information she once read that said Demonic Beasts, or rathe

You were a Kun-Peng in disguise all along?!”However, immediately after saying this, his deep golden eyes flickered with confusion.“No, that’s not right. Her soul is clearly human. It’s just that her body has taken on the form of a Kun-Peng. But that’s even more absurd! Just what is going on with this human?”An Mo somewhat crazed muttering was swept away by the passing wind. Even now, he had not slowed down his flight speed. However, his brain was no longer solely focused on escaping; it was also rummaging through his Legacy Memories from his four Divine forms, trying to understand what was going on with that human. However, none of his Divine forms’ Legacy Memories could explain the oddity of Xai Lin’s situation. As An Mo became more lost in his thoughts, he suddenly felt a surge of air current behind him that almost knocked him out of the sky. “Hey! Hey! Why aren’t you saying anything?”An Mo’s incessant chattering floated into Xai Lin’s ears, causing that faint headache from before to reappear. She raised her head and looked at An Mo with an expressionless face.Seeing this, An Mo became excited.“Oh, are you finally willing to answer me? Why does your soul—”However, before he could finish asking his question, it was abruptly cut off due to Xai Lin’s sudden transformation. With a twist of her body, she transformed into an eagle, and one flap of her broad wings carried her into the air to face An Mo.An Mo’s mouth fell open in shock at this scene.Examining Xai Lin’s wide wingspan, which could swat an adult off their feet, and then comparing them to his own, where were more beautiful than they were strong, he was dumbfounded. He knew at a glance that a single slap of those wings could snap him in half. That wasn’t even mentioning her long beak and horrifying talons, glinting in the sun peeking through the foliage above.“I

  • Chapter 3- How Strange

While leaning against the tree, the girl tried to prop herself up, her eyes never leaving An Mo’s faintly glowing figure on the ground several meters ahead of her.She slowly recovered from the shock of what had just happened, but none of that diminished the greed in her heart. However, her gaze now held a hint of suspicion as she stared at this strange creature in front of her.‘What species of Demonic Beast is this? None of the books I’ve read ever mentioned such a beast living in the Demonic Realm. No, rather, I’ve seen tortoise Demonic Beasts, but none with such bizarre abilities. It even seems like the beasts in this great forest were avoiding it. But why is that? Judging from its aura, its cultivation should only be in the early stages of the Foundation Establishment Realm. How strange…’After a moment of thought, the girl pushed all the questions to the back of her mind. Looking at the vigilant creature in front of it, she gave a sweet smile before softly saying.“It seems I wa
