In an abandoned and dilapidated factory on the outskirts of Denton city, the clock struck ten in the evening. The sky appeared as a heavy gray blanket enveloping the horizon, releasing heavy drops of cold rain that made a disturbing sound on the surface of the metal factory. The air was damp and cold, carrying the scent of rust and dust.

Smith sat on an old wooden chair, his back leaning against the cold concrete wall. He looked expressionless at the man hanging upside down from an iron hook in the center of the room.

Although the face of the suspended man was covered in a layer of dried blood, concealing his features, if Max were here, he wouldn't doubt the identity of this person for a moment. This man was one of the couple relentlessly pursued by Smith in the city streets, under George's orders.

"Leo, that's your name, isn't it?" Smith spoke with a creepy voice mixed with sarcasm. His voice reverberated in Leo's ears, who trembled with fear. Leo couldn't speak; he just nodded vigorously, trying to please Smith.

Smith smiled wickedly and pointed with his bloodstained finger to the body of another man, who was Leo's companion and was with him in the pursuit of Max. "Leo, Leo, you don't want to end up like this garbage, do you? This man was useless, foolish, and stupid. I don't know how the gang employed him." Leo looked at his companion's disfigured corpse, resembling a lifeless doll. His face was pale, and his eyes were wide open in shock. Leo felt horror and regret.

He looked at the demon that emerged out of nowhere when he and his companion were roaming the city streets, as it was part of their job to patrol the streets in search of any activity that could harm the gang.

Unfortunately, today wasn't their lucky day, as Smith literally appeared out of nowhere. But the problem wasn't just that; the problem was that Leo felt his control slipping away in Smith's presence.

He couldn't even muster the strength to speak. They understood that the cause was the old man whom they had never seen before. Leo and his companion weren't fools; they knew that the alternative paths were vampires, and it seemed that this one was stronger than George.

Smith brought them to this place when the two learned the reason why a vampire like Smith was moving against them, after hearing from the old man's mouth that George had died.

They never expected this turn of events. Although George was arrogant because of being a vampire, they knew well what George was capable of. They literally saw him dodge a bullet one day. But a person like that had died, and above all, they were the last people who saw him according to Smith's investigation of the matter.

Leo stopped overthinking as he heard Smith start speaking again.

"Leo! I want information, not a story about what happened yesterday! What happened? Is your partner insane? If ordinary humans can kill vampires as they please, won't we all end up dead? But I know your partner is not lying, and for some reason, I feel the human has something to do with it..."

Smith paused for a moment before asking, "Tell me again, what's the name of that boy?"

"Cough cough, it's Max! I heard his partner call him by that name," Leo replied in a hoarse and weak voice.

Smith stood up and contemplated as he approached Leo, who turned pale upon seeing the demon approaching him.

"Max!? That's truly mysterious. A human child involved in killing a vampire!"

Smith halted in front of the suspended Leo and said, "Look! I'll give you another chance..."

Smith's words were like a light at the end of the tunnel for Leo, who believed his fate would be the same as his partner's.

"Bring me the so-called Max and the other person who was with him... You have only 24 hours."

"And don't even think about escaping..." The tone of the threat was clearly evident in his voice.

Smith left the place immediately after uttering these words.

Boom!

Leo fell to the ground. It was a reprieve. He cast a glance at his partner's lifeless body, then picked up the black gun from the ground and left the place, his face covered in blood, which didn't belong to him but to his partner.

Leo's heart was filled with anger, hatred, and frustration.

"Son of a bitch! You caused my brother's death..."

Naturally, Leo wasn't referring to Smith as the son of a bitch but Max, who was the reason behind all this chaos.

....

Max was currently in his cramped room, unaware that he had become a target of the dreaded Blue Pill gang.

"So!?" asked Michael, lying on the chair.

Max smiled and said, "Fortunately, the boss agreed to bring you along..."

Michael raised his eyebrows and asked, "How much do I have to pay!?"

Max waved his hand and replied, "Actually, you don't have to pay a single penny. He agreed to bring you along for free."

"Now go to sleep..."

...

The next morning, the clock showed 6.

"What the hell!?" muttered Michael in a low voice, afraid of waking Max from his sleep. Surprise was evident on his face, all because of the message floating in front of him.

Waking up to this message in the morning, he already knew that the system assigns missions and, in return, Michael receives points. However, since he got the system, he hadn't received any mission until today.

"A daily mission!? Does this mean that this mission will appear every day!?" He knew he wouldn't get an answer to his question, but it couldn't help but wonder about it because the word "daily" caught his attention.

Ramos sighed deeply, trying to push away the feeling of despair that engulfed him. His eyes followed Harry's bewildered gaze towards the broken space, filled with thousands of shimmering mirrors reflecting painful memories. The scene resembled shattered dreams, each mirror holding a piece of Harry's past, from the days of battles to the small moments spent away from the battlefield."I've endured a tough life, my friend. I can't even imagine the extent of the pain I've been through," Ramos said softly, patting Harry's shoulder tenderly, trying his best to offer comfort. He felt the weight of Harry's words in his heart, as if they were slowly piling up like stones, yet he knew his consolation was the least he could do.Harry smiled wearily, looking at Ramos, and said with a mix of sadness and acceptance, "It was my fate, and I'm content with it... I've learned to accept what cannot be changed... even if it was a bad fate. I don't know why I'm still alive, but I'm grateful for that, and

“Who is this person!?” Ramos asked in a solemn tone as he pointed to the man floating in midair. He felt like he was just an ant, even if this scene was just a memory, he could feel the man's terrifying strength. "This is Eclipse, or that's what he called himself," Harry answered in a sad tone, as if the scene before him had made him feel something he had forgotten. He did not add anything other than revealing the man's name. He only pointed to the scene that had begun to come to life. “Heh, my family would definitely love this planet, the ruins, the destruction, the corpses everywhere...” The man known as Eclipse said sarcastically as he stared around with emotionless eyes as if he had seen his fair share of corpses and destruction. “Well it's war, what do you expect, man...” Harry answered in an exhausted voice while looking at Eclipse warily, he was clearly sensing the frightening aura coming from the latter. “Your condition, my friend, is not good. I see a fair amount of en

"Finally I've arrived..." Harry murmured as he looked at the city that was starting to become clear. A deep frown formed on his face when he noticed the miserable state of the city. This scene reminded him of the monsters invading his city and how desperate he was in confronting them. “I'm not strong enough yet. If I had enough power, I would make sure the monster race was wiped out of existence. “Damn, damn it, damned monsters, even after running for several miles, you are still running after me...” Harry said indignantly as he ran at a crazy speed, stopping between trees every now and then. Behind him were all the trees falling followed by a terrifying roar, behind him was a horde of crimson-skinned rhinos known for their formidable defense. What was surprising was that even with transferring a lot of points to the agility attribute and using the ability of super speed along with the ability to manipulate gravity to make his body light, he still could not get rid of the horde of rhinos. All of this happened when he parted ways with the Alpha Squad. Apparently something big happened because Harry can remember the features and tone of Zeal's angry voice when he assigned him a special mission. While he was running towards the place that Zeal told him, he was attacked by a rhinoceros with crimson skin. He was able to kill him with difficulty due to... Because this monster ha

"Hey, Smith, doesn't that man over there seem unsuitable for this task?!" Charles said with a frown as he looked at Harry, who was closing his eyes and leaning against the wall of the vehicle. Zeal, who was near them and was able to hear Charles' words, smiled sarcastically “Idiot, he doesn't know that Harry can destroy him so easily...” he thought as he listened to Smith begin to speak “No, I don’t think so, you don’t know but every one of these people here are elite and their strength is terrifying for their age...” Lina raised her eyebrows in interest when she heard Smith's exaggerated praise of the Alpha Squad members. “Uncle Miles said the same thing, but no matter how strong they are, they cannot stand up to the wrath of the monster race, which even I with my strength are powerless against...” She let out a long sigh. *** After 6 hours of travel, Harry had his eyes closed the entire time in a contemplative position, but now he suddenly opened them and a smile formed on

Suddenly the door to the next cabin opened “As I told you, Lina, it's dangerous this time. If you don't want to go, I can tell my father not to send you there...” A young man who appeared to be in his twenties, distinguished by his blonde hair tied in a ponytail, spoke. The young man was tall and of medium size. . “How many times have I told you, Charles, that this is none of your business, I know what to do...” replied Lina, the woman who had previously transported all the residents of Yermo City. A middle-aged man standing behind them sighed and said While patting Charles on the shoulder “Okay that's enough, let me introduce you to Alpha Squad...” He pointed at Harry and the others who were staring at them. Zeal got up and walked forward. The man smiled and extended his hand to shake hands with Zeal, who responded to the handshake and said “Samir, long time no see, it seems you have acquired some souvenirs...” Zeal was pointing at the scar under Samir’s chin.
