Chapter 09 - The Auction Battle

The crowd continue cheering at the auction.

Even my own voice was suppressed.

"Order! Order in the chambers." The speaker called everyone to order.

It was obvious that the majority of the crowd wanted that he should be the one to have the mystic ring because he was getting married to Lilith and so he didn't have any much competitors not talk of the fact that the ring itself was very expensive.

It was not an amount any millionaire would just want to drop, so it kind of made sense why they would support him at this point, but little didn't know that those two had wronged me.

I calmed myself as I spoke out.

"Going once, going twice the speaker said before I spoke out as I said it is my turn.

"$150 Million dollars." I added my bid.

"$151 Million Dollars." Ethan bided higher.

"A friend can't pay for you, hope you know Elina is out of this." Ethan warned.

"I know the rules." I replied.

"$155 Million Dollars." I increased the amount.

"Anyone else?" The speaker asked.

"Anyone ready? Going? Going?" He slurred.

"Going once, Going Twice..." The speaker added.

"Who does this man even think he is?" One of Ethans New fan added.

"I think the big mistake that they committed was to bring this kind of person to this place, he is not supposed to even be here in the first place." Ethans Friend added.

"just look at the kind of embarrassment that he's bringing to his wife and to himself, I wonder why  a grass cutter will end his life like this here, because Mr. Owen does not enjoy his auctions being disrupted by false people."

I smiled.

"He's obviously going to regret this at the end of the day, I can't wait for what will happen to him some people are just fools though."

I stared at Ethan in hurt.

"I can't believe it, that this nobody is standing against Ethan Calvino, because it's obvious that he's going spend the rest of his life in prison, because of Mr. Owen has said that he would come here today and if he were to come here today and discover that something like this was happening at his auction, I'm so confident that the reaction that the idiot might get, might end him up in jail, no one messes with Mr Owen."

"$200 Million dollars." Ethan added.

The whole crowd began to shake.

"Ethan is so f****** rich, the fact that he calls such huge amount of money without even flinching tells about how powerful this man can be, but he is even being merciful with Kael, hence kael is in an emotional transit, because he has lost his wife to the rich millionaire." Another person replied.

"Too bad he can't get his wife anymore she's already above his level and he's in the lost right now, if I were him... I won't even have shown my face in this place, cause it will furthermore be proof that his wife deserve better than what he had to offer." Someone added.

"Going once, Going Twice..." The speaker said before I interrupted him again.

"At this point I hope that Ethan gets to be the one to get the mystic ring not that barbaric idiot which is making the price of the mystic ring more expensive for Ethan, instead of keeping his mouth shut, knowing fully well that his wife will not pick him, I can't even believe it." Some other later adds, starring at me with anger.

"$250 million Dollars." I bided.

"This guy must indeed be a crazy person, it is very very impossible for him to have 250 million dollars except he is trying to get this funds from Elina." Someone mocked.

"Though it is not allowed in the Owen auctions that a different person would bid for a different person, if Elina actually wanted the mystic ring... It would have been better off for her to bid, not him, this will only lead to more disgrace at the end of the day and I'm willing to watch it to the end." Someone said wickedly in the crowd.

"Is he insane, where does he want to get that king of money from?" Someone asked.

"Going once, Going Twice..." The speaker adds.

"$290 million dollars." Ethan bidded higher.

Everyone praised Ethan whenever he bid more, saying it showed how rich and generous he was.

They said he was patient with me, unlike them, because, in their eyes, I had nothing to offer. To them, I was just making life harder for Ethan.

But as he kept increasing his bid prices, it felt like he was silently protecting me, trying to shield me from danger especially from the shoe, but that is because he wanted to humiliate me more.

"At $290 million dollars, ladies and gentlemen, going once, going twice..." The speaker said as I interrupted him while he spoke.

"$300 Million Dollars." I bided and the whole crowd turned in shock at me.

The security men immediately rush towards the crowd to ensure the security of both I and Ethan at this moment because of the amount of money we were bidding, it was something that either one of us had to pay for and I was deeply confident I was going to get my ring no matter what drama Ethan And Lilith try to pull.

"I finally have you stucked exactly where I want you." Ethan whispered to me.

"Ladies and gentlemen, It is obvious $300 million for a mystic ring is no small amount, that is three percent of 1 Billion dollars, to avoid bidding with a poor loser, how bout we verify his wealth to be sure, Can Mr. Kael afford the $300 million dollars before we proceed?" Ethan said and the crowded murmured in approval.

"How do you wish to pay for the mystic Ring?" The speaker asked.

"It's simple, I will use my Black Rock Giant Member card to seal the payment." I fired back.
