His Possession

I had just finished from the lawn shop where I walked to support my wife, ensuring that her business was successful for the longest.

Today was our marriage anniversary, and I had made sure that everything was ready. I even took an excuse, went home, and had bought roses which I decorated our matrimonial bed with, including the room, so that when she's back from her office, she will meet the surprise.

Then I'll take her out to celebrate!

"As I stepped out of the lawnmower workshop, I saw a man, a security officer wearing a black suit with weapons hidden from his suit size. I thought to myself, 'He had to be an officer.'

"What do you want?' I asked him.

"Sir, if you could spare me a minute, could you please just follow me? My boss would like to talk to you," The man said to me.

I looked at him, scanning the area to be sure that I was safe, before I followed the man towards the car, it occurred to me, my wife must have planned this, I can't believe she outsmarted me.

There, I saw an old man sitting down in the dark tinted Royce Royce phantom, I was a little bit worried at this point, but I had nothing to fear, since the mood was peaceful.

"Please come in,' the old man instructed and I walked in, noticing that I was kind of safe, and it was a customized Rolls-Royce too.

I don't think my wife will spend this much?

Probably cause this is giving ultimate luxury.

"Young master, I am glad to see you, everyone have been looking for you, for years now, but it seems you purposely kept your tracks hidden?" The old man said as he shook my hand, welcoming me into the car.

"Welcome again Kael, it took sometime for me to trace you, so I came here disguised when I found you, Why haven't you returned home?" the old man asked me, and I was a bit confused.

"I am home, and I am married, what's this credit card you shook me with for sir?" I asked.

"I'm your housekeeper and you call me like you don't know me..." The old man adds but I cut him off before he spills more of the script.

"Cut the chase, what is this?" I asked.

"It's yours, with a balance of a trillion dollars in your name." The old man said and I laughed.

"Hahaha, seriously, tell me, old man, are you trying to prank me? I mean; April fool's month is over, it's freaking May?" I said to him and he starred back with a serious face.

"You are Kael Watson!"

"Heir to..." He said but I cut him off again.

"I will verify this credit card gift tomorrow, and I am a nobody old man, just a married man and a soon to be father, it would be best you help drop me at my home, and I am guessing this must be a gift card reminder for my wedding anniversary?" I asked trying to conclude.

"Em..." The old man adds.

"Tell my wife I prepared before she did." I said.

"I know what's happening here, my wife paid for this?" I asked as we reached my home.

"No, did you lose your memories or are you still in... Apologies young master, I should have never forgotten, you expertise in disguise." The old man compliments me.

"No! Why should I be in disguise?" I asked back with a strange look before bursting into laugher which I ended awkwardly with a serious look.

Silence brewed between us.

"Alright, I'll check the card out." I told him.

"Here is my number, if you need someone to talk to, call me?" He said before they left.

Actually that's an amazing gift by my wife, if she paid for it, but she didn't have to spend so much money on pulling that stunt, so I walked in.

Oh my God, I needed to hug her and ask her what the customized black card meant.

As soon as I got into the house, I noticed a different strange car had been parked in the compound, but I didn't quite care.

It surely had to be my wife her with any random male friend she did private meetings with.

As soon as I reached into the house, the sounds began to worry me. Before I headed to our room, my eyes met the shock of my life.

"Oh, yes, baby," I heard my wife's voice pop out.

"Tear my clothes," she orders as her clothes got ripped apart by no one else but a powerful heiress called Mr. Ethan Calvino.

This was happening before they both turned and screamed from their kiss as they froze starring at me guiltily before breathing out in relief, although my wife's office friend carried a smirk.

"What is this?" I asked shocked.

"What is going on here?" I asked in rage as I watched my wife over the bed, looking at me with a mockery all over her face.

She acted as though I irritated her, as though what she was doing was right and I was wrong. I didn't quite understand what was going on.

"Honey, can't you see I'm having a good time with my man?" she said, shocking me.

"Are you out of your mind, who is your husband between us both?" I asked in pain.

"I don't get why you'll use such expensive stunts on me but why are you kissing this man on our matrimonial bed? Did you forget its our wedding anniversary?" I questioned her.

"Come here." I said trying to pick her up from the bed because this had to be her been dramatic.

"Pow!" I received a stinging slap to my face.

"I am not playing no stunt on you, this is real Kael, I love this man and his a million times richer than a filthy Lawnmower like you." She said kissing Ethan even more, who grabs her ass.

This meant the old man was legit, but I was sure I was no Kael Watson, not even in my second life will I reach that close, hence, I pocketed the credit card.

"Why? why today?" My heart broke.

"Why would you do this to me?" I screamed in rage, but Ethan walks up to me.

"She has every right, because you are nowhere close to her class Kael, and let me even tell you, before now, she has already done four abortions of your kids to stay with me, your wife is my filthy sweet hoe." Ethan said and in a swift I landed a punch to his face.

"Guards!" My wife Called as they rushed.

"Teach that low life a lesson!" She orders as they grabbed me, punching and slapping me, using even their guns to hurt me.

"Look at this poor refugee who I picked from nowhere and made someone... Just because you're a dutiful husband... I just wanted to make it clear to you that I'm no longer at your level." She fires as she spat over my bloody face.

"It's time for you to understand this fact and that's why these divorce papers have been signed and stamped by me you see." She said as Ethans holds her waist, landing a kick to my stomach.

"All you need to do is sign it, and you'll get a million dollars as compensation for being such a faithful husband," my wife said to me before slamming the divorce papers over my chest.

"You have always been a nobody Ethan, a dirty grass cutting dog! this reminds me of your poor two years old daughter who tragically died because your wife decided to correct that error, losers like you don't deserve to be father!" Ethan said as a hot tear rolled down from my eyes.

I looked at the divorce papers and then at her with the cheque with my hands shaking, I was indeed a loser and my child was murdered?

"I don't need your bloody money!" I cried to her only to get hit by a hard baton over my head.

"How dare you say you don't need the cheque? Don't even deceive yourself. You're poor and you need it. You have nothing to your name, I'm just giving it to you to be fair," she boasted.

"You and this devil killed my daughter, while cheating on our matrimonial bed, after all I did for you... I must be mad to think this is fair." I said as I spat our blood over the floor.

"You can beat me all you want.... But I need nothing from you, if money was my problem I would I have worked on my own business ideas, I would never assisted you with all I made Lilith." I replied before signing the divorce papers and handing them over to her.

"Good! now get out of my house!" Lilith fires.

"Before we bury you next!" Ethan Warned.

I Got up incredibly Damaged, inside and out.

I worked and built a powerful woman I thought was my world, one whom I thought loved me, and all my painful sacrifices betrayed me.
