Hearing all this, Sebastian almost fainted. The emotions burning in his heart could not be contained. In an instant, anger took over him. With a swift movement, he knocked the lawyer to the ground and grabbed his neck tightly.

“You are indeed a cowardly man, a traitor! Insolent!”

He could not understand that the person in front of him was a traitor, a person who had messed up everything he had.

However, as the situation was getting out of control and the atmosphere in the room was tense, his wife ran over, quickly breaking a vase on Sebastian’s head. The sound of the broken ceramics made him jump, as if making him realize the bitter reality that he had to face.

Sebastian could not believe what was happening. In an instant, he was arrested by the police. His wife, who was now standing next to the lawyer with a straight face, claimed that he had intentionally hurt someone. Even their little daughter, Dinda, who had always been considered his hope and happiness, testified against Sebastian under the influence of her mother.

Sebastian tried to defend himself, talking about his love for his family. “That’s not true! Dinda, honey, please tell me the truth!” he shouted, but all his efforts were in vain. Right now, everyone thought that he was a criminal, and the accusations that were thrown at him trapped him in a seemingly endless maze of injustice.

In confusion and tears, Sebastian began to understand that Dinda, whom he had always considered his flesh and blood, was not his daughter. She was the result of his wife's affair with the lawyer in front of him. This betrayal was a deeper wound than anything a father could experience—he felt as if all the world and dreams he had built had collapsed in an instant.

Pain and anger mixed together until his life journey changed 180 degrees. Those seconds were moments of shift, when he realized that his sincere love and the sacrifices he had made so far had never been appreciated. Now, he had to fight to fight for the truth and reclaim his life from the clutches of lies and betrayal that stabbed.

After a while, the lawyer entered the interrogation room. Sebastian, who was handcuffed, could only glare angrily at him, feelings of helplessness and anger mixed in his chest. With an arrogant attitude, the lawyer told him about the divorce papers that would soon be effective.

"You have to pay child support of $ 10,000 every month," he said, each word flowing out with painful indifference.

"After all, even if you're not the 'biological father', the 'legal father' still has the responsibility."

The city felt uncertain, and Sebastian felt like his world was crumbling once again. Waves of anger and heartache enveloped his mind. How far could this betrayal go—and how much had he sacrificed without realizing that it was all in vain? The lawyer smiled sarcastically as he walked out, leaving Sebastian adrift in a sea of sadness and betrayal.

After the lawyer left, the police in the room began to feel that something was wrong. They exchanged glances, doubting the situation. However, not daring to go against the lawyer's famous identity and his father-in-law's powerful influence, they decided to detain Sebastian for the next two weeks. With no rebuttals, they chose not to get involved.

Inside the dimly lit detention room, night fell, and the most desperate moments consumed my time. Sebastian sat stunned, his mind wandering through various memories. The decisions he had made, the love he had given, all felt empty.

Amidst the sad silence of the night, the corridor door creaked open. The light flooded the room and revealed an elderly man in a neat suit who appeared in the doorway. “Young master…” he said softly, a hint of concern in his voice.

Sebastian stared at the old man, confused but feeling a new hope approaching. “Who… who are you?” he asked, his voice a mix of curiosity and resignation.

The man stepped inside, closing the door behind him, and approached with calm steps. “I am here to help you,” he replied in a calm voice. “I know you are in a very difficult position through all of this. But listen to me—there is still a way out.”

Sebastian was taken aback but at the sound of the soft, calm voice, his mind opened a little to hope. “How can this be?” he asked, wondering what could possibly be done to change his seemingly bleak fate.

The old man watched him closely. “Because not everything that seems to be the truth is the truth. Let us discuss what we can do to turn this situation around.”

In his heart, Sebastian felt something new—a hope, even amidst the obstacles and emptiness that surrounded him. Maybe, just maybe, he could find a way to fight for justice, to reclaim his life that had been taken away by betrayal and deceit.

Looking at the old man, Sebastian was shocked. The figure standing before him was no stranger; he was the head of the family that had been a part of his life. Sebastian, who had once been the young master of the family, felt a variety of emotions welling up within him. The displeased expression on the old man’s face made the police chief in the room tremble in fear, knowing how much influence and power the old man wielded.

“Young master, you are in a very disadvantageous situation,” the old man said in a stern tone, but there was still a gentle wisdom in his voice. “However, I am here to help you.”

Sebastian felt a surge of relief and hope. “You have come to help me?” he asked, almost in disbelief. He knew full well that this old man had extensive connections and could be the key to freeing him from this trap.
