Chapter 230 - Searching for a Clue

Henry and Dritrix returned to the ruins of the ancient Fairfield Palace to search for clues as to where Neldor had taken Gatrix.

After clearing some debris, Henry spotted a door leading to an underground chamber.

"This is the door we went through earlier to retrieve the black box!" the girl exclaimed.

Before Henry's arrival, the Laomen had taken Libby to show them the way to this place.

The two of them then entered the door and walked through an underground corridor with walls made entirely of stone.

Oil lamps had been lit on either side after hundreds of years of disuse.

They walked for nearly half an hour before finally arriving at a very large room.

With a size almost as large as a basketball court, the room didn't seem to be dark because of the abundance of light from the oil lamps.

In the middle of the room was a black painted wooden coffin.

The surface of this coffin was decorated with carvings of symbols and ancient scriptures.
