Ryan sat back in his chair, he was already weighed down by everything.

His head was bowed slightly, and he used one hand to rub his forehead slowly.

Across from him, the three police officers still stood waiting for him to admit to the crime he knew nothing about.

The leader of the group, walked closer to Ryan and spoke.

“Mr. Walker,” he said calmly, “we’ve explained everything. The facts, the evidence, the testimonies we’ve gathered and unfortunately, they all point toward you. This isn’t just an assumption. These are direct digital trails linking your identity to the fraudulent transactions. We can’t ignore them.”

Ryan’s hand paused on his forehead. Slowly, he lifted his face, his eyes meeting the officer’s eyes.

“And I’ve also told you, those trails are fake. They were manufactured. Someone went to great lengths to make them convincing. You’re looking at a man who’s being framed.”

The tall glass doors slid open, and Ryan stepped out, flanked on both side by the two uniformed officers. His hands weren’t cuffed, but the firm grips on both his arms made it clear there would be no freedom of movement. His staff had already begun to gather on the pavement. Some whispered to one another in low, anxious voices.“Where are they taking the CEO?”“Is he being arrested?” Others simply stared in shock, wondering what was happening. They clearly had no idea why the police would be taking a man like Ryan Walker.“Mr. Walker?” one of the female receptionists called out, her voice trembling. “What’s going on? Why are they—?”“Stay calm,” Ryan interrupted gently, lifting his chin. His voice was steady and composed. “Everything is fine. Go back to your work.”“Fine?!” another staff member said from somewhere in the crowd. “Sir, they’re—”“Go inside,” Ryan said again, this time firmer. His eyes swept the crowd, locking briefly with a few familiar faces. “Do not panic. Do not sp

The moment Ryan stepped through the glass doors, with Claudia right behind him, the three armed police officers flanked him on both sides, guiding him toward the elevators. “What are you doing? I'm not a criminal, I need some breathing space,” he muttered. But the officers didn't respond, pretending they didn't hear him.Every security guard, every receptionist and every passing staff member stared wide-eyed at the sight, their CEO walking in with police escort. They reached the elevator lobby, and the officer in front tapped the button. Ryan stood tall, and his expression was calm.Claudia remained close to his side, her eyes moving between the officers and him. When the elevator arrived and they stepped inside, one of the officers finally turned toward Claudia. “Ma’am,” he said in a strict, no-nonsense tone, “you can’t come with us. This is official police business.”Claudia blinked, shocked by his tone towards her. “What? Why not?”“It’s a confidential matter,” the officer said s

His arm was still around Claudia, her face pressed against his chest, but his mind was already at Nova headquarters. His mind wandered around everything and then finally back to the message Lord Ryder had dropped earlier. He pulled back slightly from the embrace, his hands still resting lightly on her arms. His eyes met her eyes. “Claudia,” he said calmly, “I have to go. My secretary just called and there are people waiting for me at Nova headquarters. She said it was urgent.”Claudia’s brows furrowed. Her voice was still shaky. “You’re… you’re leaving now?”“I don’t want to,” Ryan admitted, “but whatever this is, it might be connected to what Lord Ryder said earlier. I can’t ignore it.”Her lips trembled, and fresh tears was about to spill out. “I can’t just leave, Ryan… look at it… look at everything…”Her gaze turned toward the flames. The Ricco S-Class Store, her pride, her sweat, her work all these years was now nothing but a wall of roaring fire. Ryan followed her gaze, but hi

Ryan's phone started ringing the moment he walked into the garage. He slid his hand into his suit pocket and pulled it out, glancing casually at the screen, but then he froze. The name staring back at him made his jaw tighten instantly.“Lord Ryder,” he muttered anxiously. His brows knitted together in a frown. “How is this even possible?” he asked himself. He had gone out of his way to block every number she had ever used to reach him. He had changed his lines, cut off every possible contact route. How in the world was her number still showing up?For a long second, he simply stood there, with the phone in his hand, watching the screen flash. The driver glanced over, sensing there was a problem but wisely said nothing. Finally, Ryan exhaled slowly and answered the call. Before he could speak, her voice came up. “Ryan… have you taken a moment to check what’s going on at Nova Inc.?”Ryan stopped walking entirely, his foot got rooted to the floor. His tone was clipped when he replied

A tall, broad-shouldered man strode toward the towering gates of the Lord’s Villa, Lord Ryder's extremely large mansion.Few had seen the inside. Even fewer had walked out after entering. The man’s heavy boots crunched against the gravel as he approached the iron gates. His black leather jacket clung to his frame, the zipper was pulled all the way up. One of the estate’s guards stepped forward from the security post. He was tall and had his suspicions the moment he set his eyes on the man. His eyes ran up and down the newcomer like he was weighing him against a list in his head.“Who are you?” the guard demanded, his voice sounded curious. The man’s voice was deep, and bold as he spoke. “My name is Bobby Greene.”The guard didn’t react immediately. He glanced at a clipboard, then back up at Bobby. “And what’s your purpose at Lord’s Villa?”“I was invited,” Bobby said, his voice was still composed. “I was Invited by Lord Ryder.”The guard’s expression didn’t change, but there was
