'Erix, I think we've got a problem. That guy is a demon. Not just any demon, but a demon noble.' Lena said, sounding deeply worried.

This was the first time Erix was hearing Lena sound like that, so he would guess one thing, the situation was really bad.

'B-but..'

'There are no buts. That guy will find you within the next 78 hours. You even made his search easier by shaking hands with him.' Lena hastily interrupted.

'So what do you suggest I do now?' Erix asked, sounding confused. 'Moreover, it's not my fault I shook hands with him. I was only trying to reciprocate his kind gesture.'

'There is absolutely nothing we can do about this. Run away all you can, that guy will still get at you.' Lena said.

'So I should just sit down and wait until he finds me, huh?'

'That's the point. We can't do anything about it. But don't worry too much, when he comes, just tell him who you are, and don't lie.'

'Nobles are very intelligent. They have evolved from pure demons into nobles with high intelligen

  • Were you following me?

In the fifth city of the planet of demons, the darkness was absolute. The only source of light was the dimly red light coming from the sky. Amidst this eerie atmosphere, a young lady could be seen walking down the street. Her long red hair fluttered in the chilly wind as she made her way to her destination. The demons on the streets recognized her instantly. She was none other than Tania, the famous saintess of the tenth city. Her reputation preceded her, and the demons knew her for her unparalleled strength and her unwavering respect for the demon laws. They were surprised to see her walking down the street of the fifth city at this hour, and they couldn't help but wonder what brought her out of her abode. As Tania walked past them, she maintained a cold and expressionless face. Her demeanor was as stoic as ever, and it was impossible to guess what was going on in her mind. She continued walking, lost in thought until she finally arrived in front of a modern and decent bungalow.Wi

  • Weirdly nice.

Lord Julian led Erix, Shota, and Orah up a grand staircase to the second floor of his regal mansion. The walls were adorned with paintings of famous battles and landscapes. Once they reached the top, he turned and gestured towards a door on the left."This will be your room," Lord Julian said. "I hope it'll suffice for your stay here."When they entered the room, they admired the room. The furniture was made from the finest wood on the planet and decorated with intricate engravings. There was a large three-poster bed, a vanity table with a mirror, and a fireplace to keep them warm during the colder nights.Shota nodded with admiration "It's habitable. Not bad."Orah examined the room carefully, old habits from his training, and started to make a list of any potential security risks. When he was finished, he said, "It's perfect. Better than that crappy rubbish from earlier."Lord Julian noticed the absence of Scott and raised an eyebrow. "Where is the servant goblin? Did he not wish to

  • Dump house?

The ruthless demon towered over the cowering goblin, its eyes glowing red in the dim light of the forest. The goblin had lost all of his comrades in the battle that had been raging for minutes and was now at the mercy of the demon that had led the attack."Please, spare me," the goblin pleaded, his voice trembling with fear. "I surrender."The demon let out a deep, thundering laugh. "Very wise of you, little goblin," Orah growled. "You have made the right choice. I will let you live. But there are consequences."Instead of killing the goblin, however, the demon did something unexpected. He looked the goblin straight in the eye and muttered words in a language the goblin did not understand.Suddenly, the goblin felt a strange sensation coursing through his body. He paled, but at the same time, a strange sense of loyalty blossomed within him. He looked up at Orah with wide eyes and suddenly realized what had just happened."You... you manipulated my mind just like your friend did with Ro

  • Goblin servants.

Erix heaved a sigh when he heard what Orah said. Orah had deliberately spoken of the rebellion to give him no choice but to agree with his words, and it had really worked.Definitely, they wouldn't let the goblins go after learning of their plan for fear of being exposed. Nevertheless, that doesn't mean they must kill the goblins to silence them. There are other ways to silence them without actually killing them.As much as Erix had the urge to kill the goblins for the sake of exp, he didn't want to miss the opportunity to gain loyal servants who undoubtedly would bring more benefits than just the immediate gain of exp. Thus, instead of complying with Orah's appeal, he acted differently."No, we won't kill them. They'll be useful to us if we have them as servants. I don't want us to waste them by killing them," Erix told his friends."How are we going to tame these losers anyway? Why don't we kill them now to save ourselves the trouble of doing that in the future?" Shota spoke up, soun
