Chapter 6

"How can this app suddenly appear? And this app can actually stream." Lonan muttered softly. Meanwhile, he aimed his camera at their faces.

This was Lonan's first time streaming. And he had no idea what he was doing next...

Lonan's heart pounded as several people began to log in to watch his Stream. This was Lonan's first time doing this, and he had to get a welcome from some of the comments that had just come in.

[What's going on over there?]

Lonan read one of the comments. He swallowed his saliva with difficulty. He even still felt confused.

Meanwhile, Bruno realized Lonan was pointing the camera at him and his wife. Of course, this made him want to laugh. He realized that Lonan's phone was terrible, and he had no idea what Lonan was doing with it.

This time, Bruno couldn't help but laugh. "Why are you pointing your camera phone at us? Do you want to show off your ugly cell phone? It should have been in the garbage." He gave an insult to Lonan.

Lonan sighed. What Bruno said was true. When he was going through a hard time and was so desperate, Lonan was forced to sell his cell phone, and he bought a used cell phone that was much cheaper for him. But Lonan was confused when he realized the phone had good camera quality. Even the faces of Bruno and his wife Sarah were clearly visible.

"This camera looks so clear. How come?" He muttered under his breath, but he refocused on the old couple moments later.

A few people started to enter the Stream, and a few others chimed in with comments.

Lonan ignored the comments. He was still focusing his phone on the two people.

Sarah chuckled in annoyance. She folded her hands together with a sharp look in her eyes. "Put away your bad cell phone. You have to pay for it immediately." She spoke with emphasis.

Her gaze looked very scary. She lowered her hands and ruffled her waist. Stepping forward slightly and speaking again, "You have to pay the rent right now."

"Didn't I already pay it to you? Then why do you have to ask me to pay it again? This is not right!" Lonan asserted.

Sarah was getting more and more annoyed. Her gaze deepened. "So besides being poor you're also deaf? Didn't I also tell you that you were two weeks late and you got a fine. And you should have paid three thousand dollars, not just a thousand dollars. So pay the money quickly!"

The woman raised her hand in front of Lonan. "I don't have much time. I have to charge some others. Don't waste my time any longer."

Lonan shook his head. His gaze looked very cold. If only he did not get bankruptcy, he certainly did not need to live in a small flat like this.

He exhaled to suppress his anger a little. "This is so strange, if I get a fine I should only pay five hundred dollars."

Lonan directed his attention to his phone screen. There were already a hundred viewers on his Stream. There were even more people writing comments than before.

[I just saw it, and I don't know what's going on]

[They're really blackmailing him? The fine shouldn't be more expensive than the rent. This is unreasonable]

Lonan smiled a little at the comments. "That's right. This is an extortion. They are forcing me to pay a higher fine." Lonan explained to the audience.

Bruno rounded his eyes. Before this, he had no idea that Lonan was streaming. He thought Lonan was just taking a video, making Sarah cover part of her face.

"Put your phone away. How dare you shine a light on us! You son of a bitch!" Sarah spoke with anger.

"Put your phone away, or I'll teach you a lesson! How dare you say we're blackmailing you. We're just asking for what's rightfully ours. Just pay up!" Bruno was still pushing him.

Lonan shook his head. Of course, he did not want that. "I won't pay. You guys better leave, and I'll stop my Stream." Lonan spoke firmly.

The old man became very annoyed. He moved forward and knocked Lonan's cell phone to the ground. Then he pulled Lonan's shirt collar hard.

Lonan was currently holding back the man's hand that was about to hit him. But the man still had a tight grip on Lonan's collar and pushed him hard. "Pay up quickly, or I'll finish you!"

Meanwhile, some viewers still following Lonan's Stream could see the flat owner beating Lonan. This triggered the viewers' emotions.

[Not only did he commit extortion, but he also committed violence]

[What did he do? Why did he have to hit her? They are crazy people. They shouldn't cheat and commit their crimes like that]

Suddenly, a notification came back. Lonan stared at the blue screen and read it carefully.

After Lonan read it, she ignored Bruno, who threatened him. His threat did not scare him at all. He immediately lowered her body to pick up his cell phone. And sure enough, as he read some of the comments, everyone was giving insults to the couple.

Meanwhile, Lonan shook his head. "No! I'm not paying for it!"

Bruno lost his temper again. He moved forward and approached Lonan again. "You really don't know yourself!" one finger pointed at Lonan's face.

Lonan pushed the hand away from his face. "Three thousand dollars is ridiculous."

Lonan glanced back at his phone screen. Until he saw that some people were still writing their comments.

[She's really crazy. How can she charge that much for a small flat?"]

Lonan read some of the comments on the bottom row. He even saw that the audience exceeded two hundred.

The blue screen reappeared, a notification he got back.

Lonan smiled slightly. Then he spoke, "I will leave here and find another inn."

Hearing that, the two people became very upset. "I don't care if you leaves here! But pay the fine first."

Some of the onlookers who heard back gave their comments.

The two became furious as Lonan held the phone and pointed the camera at him. Irritated, Bruno immediately grabbed Lonan's cell phone and slammed it hard on the floor. One slam caused the phone to break instantly.

He smiled. "That's what happens when you try to fight me!"

Lonan looked at her broken cell phone. He was very upset. But before he could speak, he suddenly got another notification.
