William didn't notice, but even his posture began to change. Now his chest was further forward and, most importantly, his nose was a little higher in the air. With his height, he began to look down on people.

Worst of all, William didn't even realize it. Arrogance was slowly seeping into his blood, taking over his body without him wanting it. Since William was not aware of it for the time being, he entered the main hall of the mansion, thinking that he would show his usual behavior.

He was wrong, as he thought he would only meet the City Lord. There were more than ten people in the room, and they were all sitting quietly in their seats, discussing something passionately. As soon as William and Doravoli entered the hall, the woman sitting at the front raised her hand and everyone suddenly fell silent.

Then the woman stood and smiled.

William recognized the woman. She was one of the three people who had helped him survive the attack of the mysterious bandit mage and complete his mission
