CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY EIGHT

Sam, fueled by frustration and betrayal, paced angrily in his living room, his mind clouded by the unexpected resistance from Logan. The weight of the situation pressed on him, leading him to seek solace in the bottom of a bottle. He stormed into his house, heading straight to the fridge and uncorking a bottle of alcohol.

As Sam drowned his vexation in the numbing embrace of liquor, Mr. Patrick, returning to the sitting room, was taken aback by the sight. He approached Sam with concern, questioning, "Sam, what are you doing?"

Sam, in a state of inebriation, sneered, "Seems like we'll have to revisit the past, Patrick."

Perplexed, Mr. Patrick asked, "Revisit the past? What do you mean?"

Sam, his words slurring, reminded him, "Remember how we took down Mr. Clarkson's family years ago? Well, it's time to do it again. His grandson, Logan, is a stumbling block. I gave him a chance to live, but he's so stubborn like his father."
