Sir Chio Navero home office was quiet

The broken glass had been sweep away

The wine stain on the floor had been cleaned

The desk was polished again

It looked untouched

Like nothing had happened

Sir Chionadi Navero sat alone, thinking

No assistants, No guards, No Alfredo.

Just him

He sat behind the massive mahogany desk his hands on his chin as he looked into space

His breathing was slow,

He looked controlled even the rage he felt when he had just heard the news of the explosion was gone

That was when he was most dangerous

When he was silent

A soft knock came at the door

“Enter” Sir Chio said.

The assistant stepped in carefully

He did not meet Sir Chio’s eyes, he was too scared to even do that

The old man had just gone through a huge loss

“Yes?” Sir Chio asked.m

The assistant swallowed and he thought before he spoke “The preliminary reports are ready, sir”

“Good” Sir Chio said calmly “Read it to me”

The assistant opened a tablet

“There was no forced entry at the factory gates”

At Doctor Banks Hospital The room smelled like antiseptic, the room was quiet save for the machine beeping Tara’s eye gently flickered, then it went open slowly, she stared at the ceiling, counting the tiny cracks One…two…three It was another room, when was she moved? Her head didn’t hurt this time That alone felt strange, she felt much better this time The door opened softly as Leon walked in He still wore the black shirt she had known him for and his shoes, every so the same Leon, her pauper husband He also had his controlled face “You are awake” he said “Is that how you greet?” Tara replied instead Leon was as much as she knows him, arrogant and poor “I see you are getting back your memory” Leon chuckled, that was the real Tara The mean and sassy one “Did you expect my memory to be gone forever?
