The seven councilors stared at them intently before speaking: "You will suffer physical pain in addition to mental torment, of course." Without further preamble, the seven removed their robes entirely, revealing their true identities.

Each had an appearance that blended human features with jackal-like traits, dressed in dark suits made of gleaming obsidian. Their helmets were distinctive, each adorned with a central stone of a unique color that seemed to pulse with its own energy.

Starting from the left, the first was an extremely thin humanoid jackal, with a disinterested demeanor that reflected absolute boredom. His helmet was shaped like a snail, and at its center glowed a pale blue stone, almost ethereal in hue.

Next was a female jackal whose helmet took the form of a snake, with a vibrant green stone embedded in the center. Her gaze was cold and calculating, as if she were sizing up her opponents with envy.

The third was a robust jackal, exuding a gluttonous and carefree air. His

The faces Toco-Toco had just seen echoed in his subconscious like remnants of a painful past. Those familiar forms—the wolf’s head, the crocodile’s jaw—brought back memories of those who had perished long ago. But there was no time to reflect. The hybrid’s limbs bristled, and an electric current seemed to course through its body as it lunged directly at Toco-Toco with dizzying speed.Out of nowhere, a lizard-like tail emerged from its back, flexible and lethal. With a swift motion, it struck the feline as if he were a ball hit by an expert batter. Toco-Toco was sent flying through the air, but thanks to his enhanced strength and agility, he managed to flip midair and land on all fours, as cats always do."So it’s true that cats always land on their feet," Milko commented, watching as Toco-Toco regained his balance with feline elegance."Grr… Where did that tail come from?" growled Toco-Toco, glaring at the enemy with renewed fury."Oh ho ho!" laughed Meloc from his position, enjoying

  • 209.7 vs. Friends: Pridel

"Pride, arrogance, haughtiness… all of them lead to me, for I am the sin of pride. My name is Pridel," declared the leader in a voice laden with disdain, as his fan emitted a faint glimmer under the light. "Welcome to my domain, where any attack you attempt will rebound upon your companion."The surrounding space began to transform. Shadows solidified onto walls, sealing off the area and turning it into a majestic hall filled with exotic peacock statues made of gold and fine silver. From the outside, those who could observe the space created by Pridel would only see a massive floating king’s crown."Ah, I’ll sit here and wait for you to kill each other," said Pridel, as a golden throne shaped like a peacock emerged from the ground beneath him. He reclined comfortably, as if enjoying a theatrical performance. "Come now, what are you waiting for? Give me—and my lord Urugas—a good show.""That’s never going to happen, you fool," Geki shot back from Mok’s shoulder, his voice a mix of fury

  • 208.7 vs. Friends: Envydas

Envydas had gradually lured Alita and Nakia into his domain. From the outside, the place resembled a gigantic theatrical mask, the kind that usually lacks defined expressions. However, this particular one emanated an unsettling aura: if you got close enough, it radiated a sense of envy so intense it could be felt in every fiber of your being.Inside this strange space, Alita and Nakia gazed up at the sky. Suddenly, thousands of mirrors emerged around them, reflecting their faces with uncomfortable clarity. From those mirrors began to burst forth enormous fireballs, hurtling directly toward them."Come on, let's take cover!" shouted Nakia as she spread her magical feathers. With a precise motion, she created a force field that enveloped them in a protective bubble. Alita quickly joined her, combining her magic with her companion’s to reinforce the shield. The fireballs rained down like uncontrollable asteroids, one after another, without pause. The roar was deafening, and the scorching

  • 207.7 vs. Friends: Greedo

Eveldow desperately tried to pass through an invisible wall to possess the body of the figure in front of him, but something was blocking him. Frustrated, he watched as the enemy finished his calculations with the scale. At that moment, the Grim Reaper herself appeared suddenly, announcing in a spectral voice: "Your wish will be granted."Immediately afterward, Eveldow began to change. His ethereal form faded, and little by little, he transformed back into a humanoid avocado from Fuertelia. At once, everything around him started to transform. Massive buildings emerged from the ground, sealing off the space completely. From the outside, the area now resembled an impenetrable vault."Welcome to my domain," the figure said as he adjusted his frog helmet. "My name is Greedo.""But what have you done to me?" Eveldow asked, furious at having been brought back to life."Ah! That... I simply bought a piece of Death. Even she has a price," Greedo replied with an arrogant smile. "And what I ask

  • 206.7 vs. Friends: Glutto

"Come on, let me eat you quickly and raw, just the way I like it... although I also love it cooked and well-seasoned," Glutto said as he devoured the bone from the arm Rocky had lost with delight. "You know what? Maybe piece by piece or all at once... Hmm, I’ll have to figure it out," he added, transforming once again into a massive sphere with sharp spikes that gleamed under the dim light."Damn it, that thing is fast... But I won’t let it get close to me again," Rocky muttered, applying a viscous liquid to his fresh wound. Instantly, the healing process began, closing the wound and easing the pain. The enemy launched his attack, rolling at high speed toward Rocky, bouncing around like an uncontrollable projectile."Ah, this time I’ll strike back!" Rocky shouted, preparing his three remaining arms, each armed with enormous, razor-sharp metallic claws. He positioned himself firmly in front of the spinning sphere, stopping it with two of his arms while trying to grab one of the nearest

"Is that all you’ve got?" said the figure with the lion helmet as he took Chiki’s blows without flinching. Despite the constant attacks, every part of his body returned to normal after being struck.Ron, seeing that Chiki’s efforts were having no effect, ran toward the enemy to assist his master."What are you doing, kid! This opponent is mine!" Chiki protested, irritated by the intrusion."No, remember we’re in this together," Ron replied firmly. "Besides, you’re not doing anything to him. Let me handle it," he added, trying to convince the dog to work as a team."Insolent brat! I’m the strongest one here!" Chiki shot back, indignant."Oh really? Then why haven’t you hurt him at all?" Ron asked, pointing to the enemy who remained unscathed despite the barrage of attacks. Both argued in anger while continuing to attack the figure, but their words only fueled their opponent’s energy further."That’s it... Keep going," Rageret thought to himself, reveling in the rage emanating from them
