Romeo, still standing in front of his uncle, Mr Alexander, whose eyes were still widened in shock as he gazed at his wife, madam Tracey, who was also in shock too as she gazed at Romeo Tristan, who still had his face gazed to the floor.

“Are you sure that is what you want to do, you really want to leave this mansion?.”

Mr Alexander asked as he lowered his glasses to his nose level and gazed at him.

“Yes, uncle Alexander, that is what I want to do.”

Romeo Tristan responded as he gazed up at him, his voice now laced with seriousness. Mr Alexander gazed at him eye to eye for a second.

“Okay then, if it is what you want then I will support you.”

Mr Alexander spoke as he broke the stare and took up his magazine.

“What!”

Madam Tracey exclaimed as he gazed curiously at Mr Alexander and then gazed back at Romeo Tristan with a scornful gaze.

“Uhmm…thanks uncle but there is no need for that, I am going to get a per time Job in the city and I will sort my need with my salaries that I will be getting.”

Romeo spoke as he gazed at Mr Alexander, his voice still laced with seriousness. Mr Alexander then gazed at him over his magazine and stared at him for a moment.

“Okay then, you are now old enough to make your own decisions so get on with it or do you have anything else you want to tell me?.”

Mr Alexander asked as he gazed curiously at him.

“No, that is all.”

Romeo responded as he shook his head.

“I will go and get my things up in my room.”

Romeo spoke as he turned and walked straight up to his room. Mr Alexander gazed at him as he walked up the stairs.

‘Why would he want to leave the mansion, does he know something about his father? Hell no,he doesn't,

Like it is said, he is now old enough to make his own decision.”

Mr Alexander muttered to himself as he then gazed back at his magazine.

‘Why would he grant him such a request?. Well, he might have his reason though.’

Madam Tracey muttered to himself as she gazed curiously at Mr Alexander, who then noticed her gaze and then gazed back at her. She immediately gazed away, Mr Alexander then smiled.

“Don't you worry honey, I have my reasons for granting him such a request and you know that reasons are always best, don't you?.”

Mr Alexander asked as he gazed back at his magazine.

“Yes,my darling, I know your reasons are always right, I was just being curious you know…”

Immediately Mr Alexander interjected.

“There is nothing there to be curious about, honey, just leave it all to me.”

He spoke, his voice laced with seriousness as his lips curved into a dark smirk.

Meaning while.

Up in Romeo Tristan’s room in the mansion. The door made a crack sound as he pushed it open, his room was all cleaned up by Miss Valerie. His lips curved into a smirk as he walked into the room and gazed around, his gaze fell on his family picture that was well kept on his table, he then walked over and took it up.

He gazed at it with a deep stare and suddenly some knocked on the door. He immediately turned around and his gaze fell on Miss Valerie, whose face was marked with a smile.

“Sorry, did I startle you?.”

She asked, her voice laced with worry as she walked into the room.

“No, no.”

Romeo responded as he gazed back at the picture. Miss Valerie then walked and stood right by his side and gaze at the picture too.

“Your mother was a good and respectful woman.”

Miss Valerie spoke, her voice laced with softness as she smiled.

“Yeah, she really was a good woman.”

Romeo spoke, his voice low and soft as he run his finger on the picture.

“Are you sure you want to do this?.”

Miss Valerie asked, her voice low and soft as she gazed at Romeo, who immediately took the picture and put it into his backpack.

“Yes, Miss Valerie, it is for the best.”

He said as he packed up his clothes and then zipped up the zipper. He swung up his backpack to his left arm and then turned and gazed at Miss Valerie, whose gaze was now mixed with worry and sadness. Romeo's lips curved into a smirk as he stepped closer to her.

“Miss Valerie, don't be sad, we will surely be in touch with each other and I can text you my location when I find a house.”

Romeo spoke, his voice laced with assurance as he placed his right arm on Miss Valerie's right shoulder.

Who immediately gazed up at him and then gave him a hug. Romeo hesitated and then responded to her hug as he gently placed his arm on her back.

“Uhmm… Miss Valerie, you are squeezing the air out of me right now.”

Romeo spoke, his voice trembling as he tried to breath, immediately Miss Valerie broke the hug.

“Ohh, I am so sorry, I don't know my own strength anymore.”

She said as she chuckled and stepped back a little bit.

‘Wow I didn't know that Miss Valerie was this strong, on second thought, I think my spine would have been broken if I didn't stop her.’

Rome muttered to himself as he slowly placed his hand on his back. Miss Valerie then gazed at him as she noticed what he was doing with his hand.

“Are you okay, Romeo?.”

She asked, her voice laced with worry as she gazed at him.

“Yeah, I am, Miss Valerie,it is nothing.”

Romeo spoke as he smiled at her.

“I will have to start going, I think the cab I came with is waiting for me outside, I have wasted much of his time, I don't want him to double up his price.”

Romeo spoke as he hung his backpack properly.

“Okay then, call me when you have settled in, but where will you be staying for the meantime?.”

Miss Valerie asked. Romeo stopped half way through the door and turned and gazed at her.

“I will be crashing at my best friend Ryan George's place in the meantime.”

Romeo responded.

“Okay then, goodbye.”

“Yeah, Goodbye Miss Valerie and I promise to call you when I find an apartment.”

Romeo spoke as he walked out of his room and straight to the stairs, he walked past his uncle, who didn't even flinch at him and met madam Tracey on his way out, who gave him a scornful gaze and then gazed back to her Laptop.

Romeo hesitated for a moment and then turned and walked out from the mansion. He immediately waved down a cab as he rushed towards the road side. The cab immediately stopped and he went in.

“Mr, where are you headed?.”

The cab driver asked as he gazed at him through his rear view.

“I am heading to the mansion of the mayor of the city, mayor George.”

Romeo responded as he gazed back at the cab driver with a slight smile on his face.

“Okay, Mr.”

The cab driver spoke as he turned on his engine and then zoomed off.

“You know, Mr, Mayor George is a very nice mayor.”

“Yeah, he sure is a very good man.”

Romeo said, his gaze drifted to the windows as he gazed outside the busy road of Gem City. Finally, after 3 hours on the road, they finally arrived in front of the Mayor Mansion gate.

Romeo walked out from the cab and then paid off the cab driver.

“Thank you Mr and also greet the Mayor for me.”

The cab driver spoke as he gazed at Romeo who then smiled back at him.

“I will, Sir.”

Romeo spoke as he stood and watched as the cab driver pulled away. He then turned and walked into the mansion as the gate automatically rolled open, he reached at the front porch and saw that the door was slightly ajar, he then curiously gazed around and then slowly pushed it open.

He tiptoed into the mans

ion and saw that everywhere was dark.

“Ryan!!”

“Mr George!”

He called out their name but no one answered and as he tiptoed to the kitchen, the lights went on and his eyes widened as his gaze fell on a surprise scene in the kitchen…

Romeo groaned as the loud music thumped through the walls, pulling him from a deep sleep. He sat up in bed, rubbing his eyes, his dark hair messy from the night. The beat was upbeat, like something from a party, vibrating the floor beneath him. "What on earth is that?" He muttered, swinging his legs over the side of the bed. He stood, stretching his arms, and grabbed his clothes from the chair,a simple t-shirt and jeans Ryan had lent him. He pulled the shirt over his head, the fabric soft against his skin, and slipped into the jeans, tugging them up and buckling his belt. His sneakers were by the door, and he laced them up quickly, the music growing louder as he moved. He headed down the stairs, his hand sliding along the wooden banister, curious about the noise. As he reached the bottom, his eyes widened in surprise. The living room was alive with energy,Ryan and his father, Mr George, were in the middle of a dancing lesson. A burly man loomed over her, his smirk dark and menacing, flanked by two others gripping baseball bats.“Hey!” Romeo shouted, his voice booming. “Leave the damn girl alone!”The leader spun around, his face twisting in confusion. “Who the hell are you supposed to be?” He sneered, sizing Romeo up. “Oh, wait, don’t answer. Let me guess,Superman?” His two men burst into laughter, their cackles bouncing off the alley walls.Romeo’s head dipped, his gaze falling to the ground. A slow smile crept across his lips, small at first, then growing. He started laughing, a low chuckle that matched theirs, his shoulders shaking. The men stopped, their laughter fading, c

Romeo sat in the front seat of Mrs Lilly’s blue Rolls-Royce, the leather cool against his rumpled clothes. His amber eyes stared out the window, his gaze heavy with sadness as Gem City’s streets blurred past, neon signs, bustling crowds, and gray buildings smudged by the morning fog. The weight of the past few days pressed on him: Erica’s betrayal, Madam Tracey’s lies, the cold jail cell. His cheek still stung from her slaps, and his heart ached with the sting of being called a thief.Mrs Lilly glanced at him, her blue eyes soft but searching. “You okay, Romeo?” She asked, her voice gentle, cutting through the hum of the car.He turned slowly, his face pale, and forced a small smile that didn’t reach his eyes. “Yeah.” He said, his voice low, almost a whisper. He nodded once, then looked back out the window, his fingers tracing the edge of his seat. She frowned, her hands steady on the wheel. “How about we get something to eat? You must be hungry.”Romeo hesitated, his stomach gro
