Ramon looked at her "How do you allow them do this to you? You are also a queen in the campus. I don't get." Ramon asked wth his eye brow quipped.

"There is alot you don't know about Ramon Cruz." She said gently picking up the broken cup on the floor.

Ramon felt like telling Violet his secret, but he knew it was too early. Suddenly a thought crept into his mind. He could date Violet to replace Chloe.

"I know this might sound stupid, but I can see you are being treated unfairly by your friends. Do you want to take revenge against them?" Ramon asked looking at Violet.

"Revenge? What are you talking about in this your present condition? You will date me, Violet Meyers?"

Violet looked at Ramon and wasn't sure what he was asking of her. "Do you want to be the laughing stock of the university? Because I don't really understand." She cleaned her face getting up to her feet.

Ramon knew the time was ticking and he need to start spending his money or else his contract will be terminated.

"I don't know why I am talking to you. Maybe because I feel apologetic towards us or maybe.... or maybe I just don't know what I want anymore." Violet said sobbing and Ramon felt bad for her. He couldn't believe she was going through what he was going through too. He had thought he was all alone and here is another victim right in front of him.

Ramon knew he had to make Violet believed in him. "If you accept to be my girlfriend, then I can do whatever you are asking of me." Ramon said.

Violet looked at him again down to his wheelchair and smiled.

"Can you afford me?"

Violet was begining to feel herself and Ramon laughed.

"Try me."

"Okay, Chloe and her friends are going to get some clothes for the prom show coming up for the fresher. Can you buy me the most expensive clothes?" Violet asked looking at Ramon.

"Is that all? What about my proposal? Ain't you going to consider it too? " He asked rubbing his temple

"I will only do that if you fulfill my first wish." Violet said still looking at Ramon in a daring way.

Ramon knew he needed to make a good first impression. "Here, please type me your details." Ramon passed his phone to her.

Violet pressed her number and her phone beeped. She counted her zeros and her phone dropped on the floor.

"Who are you?" She asked looking at Ramon weirdly.

Violet looked at her phone and back at Ramon. "This is too much. I can't spend all on just buying myself a dress." she looked at him with her mouth wide open. Violet still didn't believe Ramon was the son of a nobody.

"Do you want to tell me who you are?" She asked again making Ramon smile.

"So you accept my proposal. Think of what we could do with joining hands to fight Xavier and Chloe. They both have been a thorn in our flesh." Ramon looked at Violet.

She was about to say yes, when the door opened again making their heartbeat.

"There you are. Are you alright?" Mark asked looking at Ramon who was looking a little tense.

"I am fine, Mark. You should help me thank her, Violet. She came to my rescue." Ramon said beaming with a smile and looked at Mark.

"Thank you Violet for taking care of my friend." Mark smiled, "I will give the two some space. I will be outside by the door. We can start going home when you are ready." Mark said.

They both watched as he walked out of the room. Violet looked at Ramon again.

"Are you a king?"

"Can you stop asking me that already? What does it matter if I am a king, chief, or even citizen? I can afford what many of the kings would be dying to have." Ramon bragged seeing the money he had in his account.

Violet looked at him and furrowed her eyebrow "You should know by now what hierarchy is all about. That is why we are always a victim of being bullied. We need to move in rank to be able to stand up for ourselves."

"You are a queen and does it matter? No, we just need to be able to stand up to their bully and we are going to give them a taste of their own medicine. Just follow my lead." Ramon looked at Violet and wheeled towards her.

"Just be my contract girlfriend for just throughout the semester." He said staring at her face.

"Then what is in it for me?" Violet asked.

"You are going to benefit everything you ever want. I will Make sure you are the pride of the school and many would envy you." Ramon's promise made Violet even wonder more about who he really is.

Ramon wheeled towards the door and looked at her " Think about it and give me a reply tomorrow."

Having said that, he wheeled himself out. "You should take your time." Mark smiled.

"Do you like her?"
