Tears

Stella and Ariel bursted into a long round of laughter that filled the room. It was funny and they couldn't control their laughter.

"Well, you should have known that your good for nothing boss wouldn't come for you, shouldn't you? It only shows that you are of no use to him. You are nothing but a puppet which he'll throw away once he is done, am I right?"

Tom nodded his head in approval as tears cascaded down his face. He looked so piteous and had become a shadow of himself.
