Actually, Alexis was still shrouded in doubt about putting his trust in Andre. But he had already made a promise, so Alexis wanted to finish what he had said.

After buying expensive clothes for himself and Lea, with only the black card, he was carrying, Alexis changed his clothes and headed to his workplace, preparing to go to Royal Bank as Andre's instructions.

Navigating the streets of downtown area, he finally arrived near an exclusive residential area where Royal Bank inside this area. Alexis wanted to enter but was barred by a security guard.

"Beggars aren't allowed to enter this neighborhood," the guard stated.

"B-but, Sir, I'm looking for the location of Royal Bank. Could you please tell me?" Alexis pleaded.

"What?! You're begging but pretending to ask for a bank's location? Royal Bank? What kind of bank is that? I've never heard of any foreign bank here. Go away, my stomach feels queasy just looking at a guy like you!"

Even though Alexis's clothes were expensive, his disheveled appearance and the scars on his face, still made the guard think Alexis was just a vagrant planning to cause trouble.

"Sir, hai, excuse me." Lea interrupted. " My friend really want to go to Royal Bank. He is potential new customer." Lea wants to help convince.

But Alexis decided to stay away and figure out how to get into the elite housing and business center.

"Nevemind, Lea. Let's go and look for it ourselves."

"Alex. What really happened? I don't understand yet," said Lea, pouring out the contents of his thoughts, after delving deeper into Alexis's conversation with Andre.

"It turns out that it's not just about me now, but also my past life. The veil of my memory began to open when I was destroyed."

     "What is it?"

"Let's get in the car first. I'll tell you inside," Alexis decided and Lea agreed.

"Tell me now. I can't wait." Lea demanded even though Alexis had just started the engine.

Alexis happily complied and told her story.

"Someone came up to me, his name was Andre. He gave me a black card and made it all seem like a walk in the park."

"Andre? Who is he?" asked Lea, unfamiliar with the name.

"He said he was someone related to the past, including being my helper, but I still can't remember who he is. You're right, the only memories I've lost are the ones that were severe events until I became amnesic now."

       "Where did you meet him?"

"I was betrayed by my lover, plus news about my mother's health, while my savings were also depleted by my ex girlfriend."

"Then Andre suddenly became an angel and gave you the black card?"

"Yes. He gave me that card after saving me from falling off the cliff."

"What?!" Lea was shocked, but came to one conclusion. "So that's what caused the wounds on your face?" Lea guessed.

"Yes." Alexis took the time to look at Lea whenever she was sure the road ahead was clear. "And I was lucky to see you again. After my validation process is complete, I'd like to celebrate with you tonight. How about it?"

For Lea, today was like a reminiscence of Alexis as her first lover as well. They may have been when they were younger, but those memories will never go away, when everything was so memorable.

After searching for a while, Alexis vaguely spotted Andre from a distance. It seemed that Alexis realized Andre was observing all of his activities.

He knows because Andre was inside the car with two men that accompanied Alexis to hospital early in the morning.

Andre's car pulled ahead of Alexis and spoke to the security guard. Alexis don't know what Andre said that allowed Alexis's car to the elute are.

Alexis followed the car, sensing that Andre was signaling him to follow. From a distance, he saw a luxurious building, only a single story tall. And two pairs of eyes were glaring at him sharply.

"Finally, I'm here, Royal Bank, truly magnificent! What a bank!" Alexis was amazed.

"The door handle is gold-plated!" Alexis gazed at the handle as if it were the first time he had seen a bank with such expensive materials and an interior. " I'm very sure, its clients aren’t ordinary person. They must be rich and wealthy."

Only a few people knew about Royal Bank.

Royal Bank was the most mysterious bank in this country. Their banking footprint wasn't extensive, but it was said that the amount of savings they handled should not be less than hundred million dollar.

In other words, Royal Bank targeted the richest family in this country, especially who stands in the hundred richest man this year.

It wasn't peculiar that Royal Bank thrived even with few clients. That was because their clients were the economic movers of the nation.

With exceptional service, particularly in security and confidentiality, this bank became the choice of many wealthy individuals, especially the well-known billionaires in this country and the world.

After Alexis drive so far and asked several people on the streets, he finally found the bank's location.

It was embarrassing, considering how the people he asked looked at him like he was crazy. With Alexis's appearance, they couldn't fathom his business with Royal Bank.

Upon arriving at the entrance of Royal Bank, Alexis took a deep breath and walked in. Just two steps closer to the bank's door, a security guard stopped him.

The security guard frowned and looked at him with caution and disdain. "This is Royal Bank. Unrelated individuals are prohibited from entering!"

Alexis quickly said, "I'm here because I have business."

"Business?" The security guard gazed at Alexis while smiling. "Do you know what kind of Royal Bank is?" His gaze scrutinized Alexis's extremely unkempt appearance. "What business could you possibly have here?"

As a security guard at Royal Bank, the man had seen various customers of the bank. Some came for deposits, transfers, and much more. The commonality among these people was their glamorous attire and luxurious vehicles. Not a single non-branded item was attached to these customers.

        And, what about Alexis?

"Business? I have to meet the bank's chairman to confirm ownership."

"What possession? " the guard asked sharply.

      "Black Dragon card "

The guard was silent for a moment. His eyes glaring at Alexis. It was certainly a look of disbelief.

Pedro's labored breathing also made Alexis feel compassionate.Alexis activated the special prisoner bracelet to contact Andre. Having been in the room most of the day, the battery was not completely full, so Alexis tried to speak quickly and effectively."Zero. Report." Andre's voice was on the other end of the call, but was interrupted several times by the lack of signal."Pedro is with m

He scratched a few times where the prisoner's bracelet was."Are you allergic to sanitizer or something?" asked the medic who turned to look at his with compassion. "Hum...this, is it?" Alexis followed the medic's gaze to the bottle of cleaning fluid he had placed next to the vacuum cleaner."If you have an irritation problem, I can give you some painkillers." "No. I don't think I need it."Alexis' words fell on deaf ears as he was distracted by the moaning of the person in the next room, which Alexis assumed was Pedro."Wait here," the prison medic pleaded with Alexis. But Alexis was going to find out. He pulled the vacuum cleaner a few steps away from its original position, eavesdropping on any conversation that might be going on inside between Pedro and the medic."Calm down!" the medic snapped until he could be heard outside."I don't want to drink it. "What do you mean, Martin?"Who wouldn't be surprised, when something related to humanity, turned out to be a terrible thing, even though this was a place where criminals were."I've been close to Pedro since he was brought in here. From the beginning, I've come to the conclusion that he's not actually mentally ill. I don't know what you'd call it, but according to my observations, he's still sane," Martin explained."So you're saying that the therapy for Pedro is an attempt to make him crazy and keep him that way?" Alexis concluded."Yes.""Was it purely on the orders of the warden of this prison or were there outsiders who had power or interests over Pedro?""It seems that Pedro is a key witness to a case.""Did Pedro ever tell you about the case? I noticed that you seem to be close to him."Martin looked right and left, before continuing to answer Alexis."Why are you so scared like that? Are you afraid of who might overhear our conversation?" probed Alexis, suspecting that Martin
