CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE

Pedro phone rings. He was still in bed, but got woken up by the phone’s ringing. He picked it up,

“Yea?”.

He was listening to the person at the other end of the line. The person kept talking.

“Thank you. But no, I do not want that”.

He replied to the person, on the phone. The person continued, while Pedro listened. After few minutes, he replied,

“I do understand, but like I said before, I do not want it to go down that way. Thank you”.

He said to the person, repeating his stands on the issue, before hanging up the phone.

Afterwards, he dropped to the ground and did some pushups and then went into the bathroom, to take a shower. Few minutes later, he was out from the bathroom, back into his room, put on just his trousers without a shirt, leaving his body uncovered and headed down stairs.

“Roseline!”

He called out to Roseline.

“Oh, you are awake, Master. Good morning”.
