David has changed

"You have changed" David smiled at what she said. "Change is yet to come but for now what stuffed his heart is progress and revenge.

He has to elevate Atlas Corp and its sister company as the CEO to enviable heights and on revenge, carry out a revenge that will teach Laila a good lesson. Not that he does not love her but if he did not revenge, she would term him the weakest guy.

With the three years of a horrible marriage, horrible in-laws, if he did not learn a lesson, he could be a damned fool. Learn a lesson in the sense that a man should have both love and money. Money is power, it attracts respect. But love makes a man stupid who chose it as the primary objective. . Without Laila, in David, there was no peace and he had seen the consequences but had he learnt a lesson?

Despite that they were divorced, he has not written Laila off. Marry Laila, if possible again but punish her.

For what he saw in that restaurant, that kissing... Laila going free will ache his heart to death. Even with a revenge, the mental picture was like a gory sight.

He reached the office, hung his coat at the back of his swivel chair and reached his secretary and Chief accountant.

CEO David! He smiled at what Selena said: You have changed. He will laugh last. He may forgive the Andersons but if Laila happens to be his wife again, he will put a huge stone on her head and tell her to run round the house. Would it be too much?

He shook his head. "I am lenient. " he said.

Miss Carol Nightingale, his secretary came in before Mr Paul Clifford walked in in twenty minutes later.

His reason: The horde of files in the crook of his arm.

He set the pile on the huge Mahogany desk between them and knowing he had wasted a few minutes went down to work.

After the plenary meeting yesterday, Atlas Corp, in the light of the new management ( new CEO) is poised for expansion. The expansion will be all-encompassing. From production to sales. There will be an overhaul of the management and other things but now, what the Chief Account, Mr Paul Clifford came for with all the files is to show the CEO the financial state of Atlas Corp.

At her 9th grade school, Selena regretted telling Laila she saw David.

She called him, he

picked up her call. " You 'll be at home tomorrow ?" she asked him.

David had not made up his mind on her. He lit his cigarette.

"David. Are you not replying? Am asking if you will be at home tomorrow?"

"Yes," he told her

Selena, 25, as curvaceous as ever, came down from the cab.

The cab man waited until the security cleared her for entry.

Her sister just divorced David because he was thought to be a poor son-in-law.

Is it justified, an affair with him?

But to be sincere, she has never hated David. She loved him. She could be the right woman for him. Her grouse had been David's nonchalant attitude towards her advances.

Now, she is on another advancement, ruthless this time around the look of things.

"I made a mistake to tell my sister I saw you." she said to David, regretfully as she sat in the house

"Why?" asked David.

"Do you still love him? You don't seem to know whom she is."

David smiled. " It was love. "

"But you are still in that kind of stupid love? C'ommon, give liberty to your eyes. When you were in our house you were sore afraid. Now are you in our house? " asked Selena.

She shifted close to him, wondering if she needs more to say.

"Hope you have learned a lesson. Have you?" she asked.

"I have. I have not "

"So, you are still interested in her? Oh. What a weak guy you are David" Selena said, damning him.

Not that David did not understand her. But he dilly-dallies because of his love for her sister

At last would she succeed in her advances?
