As the waitress walked away, Raymond shifted in his seat to face Cordelia more directly. He leaned forward slightly, trying to catch her eye.

"So, what do you think about the tour today?" he asked, a hint of anticipation in his voice. "Did you enjoy the boat ride? I thought you might like it, especially with the beautiful views of the city.”

Cordelia nodded politely. "It was nice," she said, keeping her responses short.

Raymond smiled and continued, "I thought it would be a great way to show you around. The city has changed so much since you last left, and there are so many places to see."

Cordelia nodded again, though she seemed less enthusiastic about continuing the conversation.

Raymond noticed her reserved demeanor and tried a different approach. "So, what's been your favorite part of the trip so far?" he asked, hoping to engage her more.

Cordelia paused for a moment before answering. "The boat ride was nice," she said, her tone neutral. "And the city has definitely changed a lot.
