Soon, the drive started and soon got to the Whitmores estate.

The estate was quiet, and the tension still lingered in the car.

Damon leaned his head against the window, half-exhausted but trying not to show it.

Soon, they got out and the maids hurried toward them the moment the car stopped. Their eyes widened when they saw Damon’s blood-stained shirt.

“Miss Whitmore!” one of the maids gasped. “Are you hurt?”

Vivan shook her head. “I’m fine. He’s the one who needs attention. Get the first aid box and prepare the guest room—now.”

“Yes, ma’am!” the maid said and ran inside, her slippers tapping fast against the marble floor.

Soon, they stepped in, The Butler who was standing at the doorway greeted Whitmore and Celeste "Welcome Miss Vivan, Miss Frobes!"

Vivan gave a small nod, brushing past the butler as she helped Damon inside.

Celeste, who was already tired, gave a faint smile. “Been a while since I last visited here,” she said softly, looking around the familiar hall

Damon quickly reached for the phone, grabbing it before Klaus could step closer. “That? Oh, yeah, she, uh, brought it here last night,” he said, his voice a touch too casual. “She was helping me with my shoulder, remember? It was pretty bad after dinner. I think she left it behind when she went back to her room.” Klaus’s brow furrowed slightly. “She was here last night?” Damon nodded smoothly, slipping the phone into his good hand and gesturing vaguely toward the table. “Just to help. She insisted on doing that, stubborn as ever.” Klaus gave a small chuckle at that, though his gaze still lingered suspiciously on Damon’s face. “That sounds like her,” he said slowly. “Always insisting she knows best.” “Exactly,” Damon said with a grin, relieved that his excuse seemed to be working. “Trust me, she was bossing me around like a doctor on call. I think she even threatened to confiscate my Charger if I didn’t rest.” Klaus’s lips twitched into an amused smile. “That does sound like Vivan.

After an hour had passed, which was exactly 7:30 p.m., Vivan walked back into Damon’s room. She was holding a tray of food and smiling a little. “It’s dinner time,” she said softly. But her smile faded when she saw Damon standing up and trying to wear his jacket. “Wait—what are you doing?” she asked, sounding surprised. Damon turned around and gave a small smile. “I’m leaving,” he said. Vivan blinked. “Leaving? You can’t leave yet! You’re still hurt.” “I’m fine,” Damon said, trying to sound strong even though he moved slowly. “You’ve done enough for me already. I don’t want to bother you anymore.” Vivan frowned and shook her head. “You’re not bothering me, Damon. You should stay tonight.” He raised an eyebrow. “Stay? Why?” Vivan shifted uncomfortably as she folded her arms, "Because I want you to keep an eye on you, you are living alone and you need someone to keep an eye on you" Damon looked at her for a moment, a small smile forming on his lips. “You want to keep a

"Well, whatever. Don't just stand there Vivan, Come help me with my wound they hurt!!" Vican shot him a glare and relinctant walked closer to the bed where Damon was sitting, "You are unbelievable Damon, I wonder who is whose boss at this point, you just use your wound as an excuse to boss me around" Damon smirked, eyes glinting with mischief. “Maybe the roles have changed. I think I like this version better, you taking care of me.” Vivan rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. “Don’t get too comfortable. I’m only helping because I don’t want you bleeding all over the place.” He leaned back slightly, pretending to look wounded. “Ouch. That almost hurt more than the actual wound.” “Good,” she shot back, grabbing the first aid kit. “Maybe it’ll teach you to keep your mouth shut next time.” Damon watched her with that lazy, teasing grin that always made her nerves dance. “You know, you say you don’t care,” he murmured, “but the way you’re fussing over me says otherwise.” Viva
