Grandfather Daniel and Adam both turned to look at Darwin. The old man was utterly shocked.

Adam swallowed hard. Knowing that Darwin was a powerful ruler, he had to be extremely careful with his behavior.

Without hesitation, Adam bowed deeply, offering a respectful greeting to Darwin. Of course, he was showing a completely different side of himself in Darwin’s presence.

Once they faced each other again, Adam quickly spoke, “Master Darwin, this is just a misunderstanding.”

His sharp gaze darted toward Daniel. “This man has caused trouble, and I will immediately have him removed from here,” he said with emphasis, clearly hoping that Daniel would take the hint and leave.

Meanwhile, Brian smirked in triumph. He was pleased to have his grandfather’s support and felt far superior to Daniel. In his mind, he was the one truly deserving of the major business contract.
