CHAPTER 2. Who are you?

" What's going on?!" Startled with the sudden silence, Henry yelled as he turned his back and stopped what he was about to do.

" Boss, we don't know what happened. He just suddenly went quiet and limp," the body guard carrying Hudson answered unhurriedly in a calm manner.

Henry looked down at the immobile Hudson, and he shook his head.

" So?" He scoffed and snorted loudly. " Do I look like I care? Fuck! I said throw him out!"

The bodyguards weren't expecting this, but they had no right to say anything. They just quickly did what Henry told them, scurrying away, with the immobile and quiet Hudson.

*Baam*

" That's where you belong!" The bodyguard, who carried Hudson, threw him away like a garbage and stepped on him, before he turned away.

The moment the bodyguards left, Hudson stood up and dusted himself slowly, with a gloomy look.

He was devasted and couldn't believe what he just went through.

He wanted to think, but his mind was already numb.

Too much grief had overwhelmed his mind, and he was shattering down into pieces.....

The flood of melancholy in his eyes couldn't be mistaken, and it was quite vivid as it mixed quietly with the sadness roaming across his eyes.

Lazily, he dragged himself back to his one room apartment, that was nothing less than a pig's house.

As Hudson walked alone, memories of him and Gina flooded his brain, and it almost made him shout, just so he could stop it.

He recollected everything and didn't even know when tiny tears started dropping from his eyes.

" Gina, why did you do this to me? How could you pay me like this?!" He lamented with intense grief and immediately stopped walking. He stood akimbo and bit his lower lips, as he lifted up his head. " Why?"

Hudson couldn't express how hurt he was, but his facial expression said it all. He was trying not to think about him and Gina's memories, but his mind had a mind on it own.

" Gina,  will you ever find heaven?"

He couldn't believe Gina could trash him away like that, after everything he had done for her. The main reason why he was working tirelessly and going through all that hardship was because of Gina. Now, realising all he had been doing was nothing, he couldn't help but feel bad for himself and cursed his ex girlfriend.

It was at this moment, Hudson realised a poor man doesn't have a life.......

At last, he got to his rat like house and twisted the door knob. He was not even in the mood to greet anybody.

But the moment, he stepped in, he was greeted with an unanticipated shock.

" Who are you?!" Hudson was flabbergasted and confounded to find someone unfamiliar in his house. " What are you doing here, and how did you get in???" He couldn't stop bombarding the unknown person with serious questions, as a scowl immediately formed on his face.

" But I was sure I looked this door before I left in the morning." He thought inwardly and turned back to look at the door. It doesn't seemed to be broken and everything appeared fine.

" Relax. Have a seat first," the unknown person adjusted himself, as he sat straight and crossed his right leg over the other.

" How did you get in?! Tell me now, or I am calling the cops!" Hudson was still very much confused, and his eyes darted around his whole house. He was trying to check if everything was intact.

" Are you a bugler?" He questioned again, furious at the thought and clenched his fists. Earlier, he was heart broken, and even till now, he was still mad about the heartbreak. So at this moment, he was willing to transfer his aggression to anyone!

The man narrowed his eyes at Hudson and pressed his fingers together. Suddenly, he made a throaty chuckle. " A bulger? Do I smell or look like a bugler to you?"

" It not by smell or by look!" Hudson snapped angrily and hissed. " I don't have time to chit chat with you, I am calling the cops now!" Swiftly, he brought out his phone, but before he could press anything, a shadow suddenly loomed over him.

" Drop the phone!" The shadow commanded with a deep bass voice.

Feeling the overbearing aura from the shadow, that was towering over him, Hudson quickly dropped the phone and stepped back, as he cringed slightly.

" Thank you shadow." The man waved the overbearing shadow away and faced the frightened Hudson. " Now, seat."

Instantly, Hudson did as he was told and lowered his head.

Beads of sweats had covered his face, as he was frightened beyond words. Just an aura alone was enough to make him feel this kind of fear.

Fuck! He felt suffocated!

The unknown man wasn't astonished to see this kind of behavior from Hudson, as he already figured out everything about Hudson before he came.

Clearing his throat, he gazed straight into Hudson's eyes. " When am talking, you will look up into my eyes." He started with a warning statement, which instantly made Hudson to raised up his head slowly.

" Firstly, sorry about your heartbreak." The unknown man stuffed his hand into his pocket and brought out a pack of cigarettes. He took out one cigar and lit it up immediately. " Don't be startled, I have my ways."

" Who are you?" Hudson couldn't comprehend a thing anymore, as things were starting to get confusing.

How did this man know what happened to him earlier?

The unknown man was wearing a stoical face, so it was hard to know what he was thinking. Inhaling some amount of good smoke, the curled his lips upward, " Do you know who Lewis Dante is?"

" Lewis Dante?!" Hudson widened his eyes, as he repeated. Of course, who doesn't know Lewis Dante in the whole of Orlando county?!

Like, he is literally the man who holds the final say to anything in the country, even the government bowed and respected him! Just with a snap of his finger, he can absolutely destroy all of Orlando county!

Some even worship him, but the odd thing is, no one had ever seen his picture! The Media didn't dare to snap him!

The unknown man had noticed the countless questions and doubt on Hudson's face, which he could comprehend.

He threw the cigar in his hands away and dusted a speck of dust from his suit.

" What if I tell you am your father?"

Hudson stood up abruptly upon hearing this and pointed to the unknown man!

" Don't try silly jokes! Am not in the mood for that! My father is dead and long gone!"

" Is he?"

The man, who identified himself to be Lewis Dante just shook his head amusingly and cracked his fingers knuckles.

" You don't know anything."

This felt like an insult to Hudson, and he gritted his teeth angrily.

" My father is dead! I am sure of this! I saw his corpse, and even the doctor pronounced him dead! So, there is no way you can be my father!" He refused to agree with what Lewis said.

" Why can't I be your father?" Lewis arched his brows and stroked his chin gently. " Am I not wealthy enough?"

Hudson hissed loudly and ruffled his midnight black hair violently. " It not about that!"

Yes, he is aware about the immense wealth Lewis Dante possessed, and his worth! Inwardly, he was even slightly envious of him.

But that not the issue here at this moment.

" Then, it about what?" Lewis stood up calmly and stared deep into Hudson's eyes.

Both people actually possessed the same eyes, as they both had hazel eyes.

This was when Hudson's eyes flickered with something unknown, and he suddenly noticed something.
