CHAPTER 3. Lewis Dante?

      " Then, it about what?" Lewis stood up calmly and stared deep into Hudson's eyes. 

Both people actually possessed the same eyes, as they both had hazel eyes. 

This was when Hudson's eyes flickered with something unknown, and he suddenly noticed something.

" Who are you?" He asked again, this time with a solemn expression, finally calming himself down. 

Lewis also noticed this, but he sighed and lowered his head. 

" I am your father." He answered curtly.

" How? I told you my father is dead!" Hudson still refused to believe Lewis and shook his head negatively. " Please, I hate lies!" 

" And so do I!!" Lewis snapped with a red rimmed eyes, as he lifted up his head. " Do you think am okay with lying to you and everyone?! I didn't die Hudson, it was all fake. It had a reason, and at the time, I couldn't trust anybody, but am sorry you suffered for it. It was all my fault, I am sorry." 

" What do you mean?" Hudson got confounded, and he blinked his eyes multiple times. 

" I didn't die Hudson. I faked my death because my life was at risk at that time, and if I didn't do what I did, I might actually be dead for real. I didn't mean to, but it was necessary at that time. I am sorry, I wish I could explain things to you back then, but it was complicated. I didn't want to endanger your life also, as I didn't want to lose you." Lewis explained meticulously, at the same time observing Hudson's expression gently. 

This was when realisation dawned on Hudson, and his face turned ashen immediately. He stepped back with trembling fingers and quivering lips. 

" I can't believe this......" 

Lewis stood up and placed his two hands behind his back. " A lots of too many things happen at that time to the extent, I was nervous. I don't want all my properties to go to anyone except you. Having lost your mother, it would be devastating to lose you also, so I resulted into taking this risk. I faked an accident and use that to deceive the people that are after me." He paused and took a deep breath deep before continuing, " After that, I flew abroad and establish an empire there with a new identity as Lewis Dante, and it spread to the whole of Orlando." 

"..... " Hudson was rendered speechless, and for a second he couldn't think about anything.

Just then.....the door suddenly bursted open with several voices arguing against each other. 

" Boss! These are intruders, I tried to stop them, but they showed me their ID card and demand to see Mr. Hudson," one of Lewis men quickly explained what had transpired between him and the cops. 

" Let them in." Lewis went back to take a seat and naturally started tapping his fingers on the armrest of the chair. 

The cops were finally able to made their way in, and they immediately swing into action by accusing Hudson of a crime..

" Are you Mr. Hudson?" One of the cops stepped forward and boldly questioned Hudson, who was startled with the cops sudden appearance. He couldn't understand why they were here. 

Lewis just sat down quietly and watched the whole show. 

Hudson was nervous, and he tugged the collar of his shirt. Then, he turned his head towards his so called father now. 

Lewis chuckled and curled his lips upward wickedly. " What are you people doing here?" He was addressing the cops, who were frowning at this moment. 

" Hey Mr.! You have every right to shut up and mind your business right now! Or you might implicate yourself!" The cop, who spoke earlier spat at Lewis, the moment he heard the latter's question and twisted his lips. 

Lewis narrowed his eyes but pressed his lips together. 

" You don't have the right to talk to me anyhow in my house! Your manners please!" Hudson was annoyed with the way the cops were behaving, and it totally irritated him. 

" Shut up!" The bold cop snapped at Hudson and brought out a handcuff. " You are hereby under arrest." He announced and ambled closer to Hudson. 

" For what?!" Hudson scowled, as his eyes darted from one cop to the other. 

" For stealing Mr. Henry's money that worth 10 million dollars!" Another cop answered Hudson, and by this time, the first cop had already held Hudson's hands. 

" No! That's not true! I will never do such a thing!" Hudson refused instantly and denied it vehemently. " This is not true! I don't involve myself in a thing like that! Stealing is not my thing! I will never do that, there must be a mistake somewhere! Am sure of that!" He tried to step back, but the first cop had grabbed hold of him. 

" Don't bother saying anything! Anything you say right now will be used against you in the court of law!" The first cop ignored Hudson's explanation and sneered. 

Hudson couldn't believe his ears. How could such a thing happened?! Definitely, something is fishy. But he had no proof. 

Seeing the helpless and innocent look on his son's face, Lewis knew something wasn't right here. And even though, Hudson was not guilty or guilty, he didn't care. He was going to save his son and abused his power! 

" Stop!" He raised up his hand just when the cops were about to push Hudson. " If anyone of you try to lay your stinky hands on him, I will make sure my angel will have that hand as her lunch!" 

Hearing this, was terrifying, and the cops immediately glanced at themselves, but they were hesistating. 

" Who the fuck are you?! You have no right to say this!" The first bold cop fired back at Lewis, but the latter just ignored him like a piece of trash.  

Lewis called shadow and took out his phone. He dialed a particular number and put it on speaker. 

" Richard, what's going on?"

The person at the other end of the call immediately stood up and widened his eyes upon hearing the voice......

" Mr Lewis? Lewis Dante?!" 

" Hmm" Lewis closed his eyes and rubbed the tip of his nose gently. 

The cops that were frowning, instantly changed, and they froze. They voice they heard from the other line was....... familiar, but they didn't want to believe. 

Again, hearing how the voice mentioned " Lewis Dante" their ears almost burst, and beads of sweats instantly broke out from their forehead. 

" Lewis Dante?!"
