Chapter 022

Arnold saw a woman being dragged by a man in his late 30s. The man's gaze was focused on the woman, so he didn't notice Arnold's presence who was standing not far from them.

"Come on, dear. You don't need to act like that. I will give you everything you want if you obey my wishes," said the man persuading her. They walked towards a warehouse, which was located near an emergency stairs.

"No, let me go!" shouted the woman in a hoarse voice. It seemed like the woman had lost her voice from screaming too much, but no one came to help her until Arnold finally found them.

Hearing the man's words made Arnold think that the man must be planning something bad for her. He would not allow that vile plan to be carried out.

“Get your hands off her, jerk!” Arnold exclaimed.

Arnold's voice made them turn around. The man frowned when he saw Arnold's presence. Meanwhile, the woman looked at Arnold with hope in her eyes.

“Help me, sir; please free me from him! He wants to rape me,” the woman pleaded.
